Media Ignores Speaker Nancy Pelosi's Total Loss of Control of the House

The media has proclaimed that 78-year-old Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is part of the Democrat Party’s “future.” But the media is utterly silent on the fact that she seems to have completely lost control of her own caucus as radical, left-wing new members of Congress control the narrative and agenda.

First of all, it is a bit amusing that Rolling Stone somehow decided that a woman who has been in Congress since before we had gas-powered cars is “the future” of the Democrat Party, but… well, you know.

It is also amusing that Pelosi’s actual middle name is Patricia which sounds suspiciously like Patrician.

Anyway, what is even more amazing is that the media is letting this aged patrician off the hook despite that she has clearly completely lost control of her party. Radical, anti-semitic, and barely literate whackjobs like Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are running the House (into the ground) and Pelosi seems powerless to get control of the message.

Recently, Newt Gingrich wondered this same thing. And he should know. He was once the Speaker of the House himself.

Gingrich noted that the “old guard Democrats” are in a “very difficult position” as these loud, new members of this new Democrat/socialist/anti-Jew caucus take control.

In his March 9 op-ed, Gingrich notes, “The radical young voters that Democrats have been courting for years have finally elected like-minded radical young representatives – and Pelosi, D-Calif., and her leadership team have no control over them.”

Gingrich said that playing out on the national scene is the evidence of the huge gap between the Democrat power structure and its young, radicalized voters.

“The median year of birth for the 59 Democrats who assumed office this year is 1973. Sixteen of these members were born on or after 1980,” Gingrich calculated. “The average age of Democratic leaders is 71,” he added.

“To the new Democrats, the leaders are like the grandparents. And I don’t mean this in a positive way that could foster an opportunity for maternal or paternal mentorships,” Gingrich said pointedly.

Gingrich went on to say that the new radical Democrat Party is about to trounce every moderate and could send every purple district stampeding to the Republican Party.

There also doesn’t seem to be much opportunity for the moderates/old guard and the new radicals to find a meeting place.

“This is not at aberration. The new class of Democrats despise Pelosi and the grandparents. The old guard has failed to create the radically progressive, socialist America that the new guard wants,” Gingrich noted.

Gingrich points out that Pelosi is like a cork on the ocean, buffeted by every news headline and responding in crisis fashion. Instead of setting an agenda for the party and carrying it out she is running around everyday putting out fires and desperately trying to look like she is in charge.

But, she isn’t.

Gingrich concludes:

These divides in the Democratic Party are only going to become more pronounced as Pelosi’s grip slips further. The new Democrats’ private party will become increasingly raucous until it has lost all touch with normal Americans.

Moderate Democrats will have to continue answering for their colleague’s radicalism. Pelosi and the grandparents will not be invited along, but they will still be left cleaning up the mess.

Gingrich should know, after all.

But have you noticed that the media is playing cover for Pelosi? As far as the media is concerned, everything is still coming up Nancy!
