40% of US Economy Could Be Wiped Out Over COVID-19, Push National Debt to $27 Trillion
At some point, America will have to open back up. But when she does, how bad are things going to look? Will many mom and pop shops be gone? Will they be able to reopen?
So many questions.
Check this out, via NY Post:
The coronavirus pandemic could wipe out 40% of the U.S. economy, quadruple the federal deficit to $3.7 trillion and push the national debt to nearly $27 trillion, the Congressional Budget Office reports.
Fiscal 2020 debt and deficit figures are on track to be the highest since World War II after Congress passed four massive coronavirus response bills; President Trump signed the measures.
The American people want to work. They want to earn their paychecks to feel as though they are contributing.
So, when far-left candidates propose eliminating jobs – for pretty much any reason – it doesn’t sit well, nor should it. 2020 Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden, apparently, doesn’t understand this.
To talk of eliminating hundreds of thousands of jobs because the AOC’s of the nation think they know what’s best is downright pathetic.
From Daily Wire:
Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden signaled support for eliminating hundreds of thousands of blue collar jobs on Thursday night in order to transition to a “greener economy.”
QUESTION: "Would you be willing to sacrifice…hundreds of thousands of blue collar workers in that transitioning to that greener economy?"
BIDEN: "The answers yes." pic.twitter.com/23Qh1wyEa6
