ACLU Issuing ‘Travel Advisories’ for Immigrants and People of Color

The declaration proves once again that the ACLU is more concerned with headlines than with helping.

The layers and layers of racial nuance in America could and should be a thing of the past, but there is far too much money in racism for that to be the case.

A prime example of this never-ending circle of hate-activism-hate comes to us from the American Civil Liberties Union, who would be out of a job if it weren’t for the continued perception that America is a nation filled with venom.

In reality, this is not the case.  Hate crimes do occur, no doubt, but at what point does a group like the ACLU cease to be combatting hate and begin being a cheerleader for it?  If hate crimes simply vanished overnight, with or without the help of the ACLU, what would become of the organization and its fat-cat leadership?

So, in what is almost certainly an instigation as opposed to a reaction, the organization is warning immigrants and people of color to avoid Florida…going so far as to issue a “travel advisory” for the US State.

“BREAKING: We and partners have issued a travel advisory urging immigrants and people of color to use extreme caution when traveling in Florida. The state is on the verge of passing a draconian anti-immigrant bill which will endanger our communities,” the ACLU wrote in a social media post on Monday.

The legislation —  Flordia House Bill 527 and Senate Bill 168 — would bar municipal and state government agencies from upholding sanctuary policies. The bills would also mandate agencies to work with federal immigration authorities.

The ACLU of Florida said in a press release the bills would cause “irreparable human cost” and “expose counties and other government entities to potential legal and financial liabilities by forcing local authorities to comply with ICE’s flawed detainer system.”

This proclamation will do little to change the policies that the ACLU opposes, rather, it was designed to bring attention to the organization by allowing observers to believe that this “travel advisory” comes from some place of authority or dignity.
The ACLU has decided to take the inflammatory and Vaudevillian route instead of putting boots on the ground and attempting to make the change they allege to want.  For shame.

Devin Nunes Says ‘Deep State’ Exists And Is ‘Much Worse Than Even I Thought It Ever Was’

Published

on

For the last several years we’ve been hearing the term “deep state” from folks in the Trump administration as well as from conservative pundits and news organizations in reference to a secret, shadowy group of leftist individuals within the government working against President Trump and his agenda for our country. Some folks have claimed this is all just a tinfoil hat kind of conspiracy theory, but if what Rep. Devin Nunes says is true, then not only is this network of resistance defectors real, it’s far worse than we could have imagined. Here’s more on this story from The Washington Examiner: California Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday about his efforts to raise awareness of bureaucracy within the federal government believed to be undermining President Trump. “One thing that I tell the American people every time that I speak and I go out on the road and I talk to people is that, remember, the deep state here is much worse than even I thought it ever was,” Nunes said in an interview along with Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, to talk about efforts to renew and reform parts of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Trump’s distrust of people inside the White House and the federal government has intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, and he believes his government is filled with “snakes” he wants to be fired and replaced. Steps are already being taken to weed them out. A network of conservative activists led by Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is helping compile detailed memos of disloyal government officials they want to be fired, while also finding Trump loyalists to replace them, according to Axios. According to Nunes, the…

Former GOP Presidential Candidate Herman Cain Slams Bernie Sanders; Says ‘Democratic Socialism Doesn’t Exist’

Published

on

Conservative pundit and former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain recently went after Sen. Bernie Sanders, the current top contender for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, stating that Sanders’ version of “Democratic socialism” does not exist. Sanders has had a bit of a rough week after making some rather controversial statements praising some of the “good” done by communist dictator Fidel Castro during his time in Cuba, comments he later doubled down on instead of backing away from. Here’s more on this from The Washington Examiner: “Bernie Sanders would have you believe that he is not like the socialists who have ruined Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and — going back a few years — all of Eastern Europe,” Cain wrote in an opinion article in the Western Journal. “Oh sure, he agrees with many of their economic ideas, but don’t worry. He’s a democratic socialist, and that’s different.” Cain then said, “Democratic socialism doesn’t exist. That’s because it can’t exist, because socialism can’t take hold in a truly democratic system.” “In order for socialism to ‘work,’ the state has to take control of major industries like health care, energy and manufacturing,” he wrote. “It has to confiscate massive amounts of private wealth. It has to control the means of production and distribution. It has to control wages and prices. It has to monopolize things like higher education.” Sanders has been riding high off victories in New Hampshire and Nevada and has stated that he believes Democratic socialism will lead to political and economic freedom for people in every community. The Vermont senator has accused President Trump and others on the right side of the political spectrum of fear mongering concerning his socialist views and policies, particularly when it comes to the issues of healthcare, the economy, and climate change. The fact that…
