Do silly things, pay the consequences.

It’s really that simple.

Utah judge Michael Kwan just learned that the hard way, as he has been suspended for six months without pay for repeatedly bashing President Trump in the courtroom.

A Utah judge has been suspended for six months without pay after he made a series of critical statements about President Donald Trump online and in his courtroom over the past few years.

[…]

Kwan, who has served as a justice court judge in Taylorsville for 20 years, was cited for “improper use of judicial authority and his inappropriate political commentary,” the latter often involving President Trump.

Continued:

Three days after the 2016 election, Kwan wrote on Facebook, “Think I’ll go to the shelter to adopt a cat before the President-Elect grabs them all” — a reference to the “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump was heard bragging about grabbing women’s genitals without consent.

Almost a month after Trump’s inauguration, Kwan said “welcome to the beginning of the fascist takeover” and questioned whether Congressional Republicans would be “the American Reichstag,” this time referring to the political body of Nazi Germany.

Did Fox News ever apologize to Judge Jeanine Pirro after suspending her for two weeks over comments made about Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN)?

Don’t think so.

Of course, Pirro turned out to be 100% right about Ilhan (more on that below).

On Saturday night, the judge ripped into disgraced FBI Director James Comey like a boss.

Pirro explained, “They’ve stolen the House, the people’s House. That hallowed chamber our forefathers created to represent the people as well as be closest to the people. They hijacked it to maintain power for themselves. They don’t work for or represent you. These radicals who have forfeited their job representing you, continue to resist, create havoc and claim Constitutional crisis.

She added, “Most important, start gearing up for 2020. We need a House of Representatives that represents the people in this great nation. The people who want to remake America and maintain their own power. God help us and God help us if we elect these same people and they stay in control of our country.

After the suspension, President Trump commented on Fox News pulling Pirro:

Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well. Fox …..

….must stay strong and fight back with vigor. Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them. Be strong & prosper, be weak & die! Stay true….

….to the people that got you there. Keep fighting for Tucker, and fight hard for @JudgeJeanine. Your competitors are jealous – they all want what you’ve got – NUMBER ONE. Don’t hand it to them on a silver platter. They can’t beat you, you can only beat yourselves!

Here’s what Pirro said about Omar that had people up in arms…

Joe Scarborough Says Americans See Trump As ‘Either An Agent Of Russia’ Or A ‘Useful Idiot’

Published

Host of MSNBC’s “The Morning Joe,” Joe Scarborough, said that he personally thinks that President Trump going on a visit to Russia might be disastrous for him, reinforcing the view that “a lot” of Americans hold, namely that Trump is some sort of Russian asset. Trump spoke with the media on Friday last week where he stated that he was considering attending Russia’s Victory Day, a holiday designed to celebrate the country’s 1945 victory over Nazi Germany. Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have both attended the event during their time in office. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “I’m not saying Donald Trump should go to Russia. I think, though, at some point, the United States needs to recognize, in a very public way, the remarkable sacrifice the Russian people made in the defeat of Hitler, along with all of our other allies,” Scarborough said Monday on his show. “But I’m just wondering whether Donald Trump can actually be that president,” he continued. “Because of everything that’s preceded it. The fact that there are a lot of people in America who believe that Donald Trump is either an agent of Russia or at least a useful idiot.” “He is doing the very thing that Vladimir Putin would want a western leader to do more than anything else, and that is to undermine NATO. He could not be doing Putin’s bidding more effectively if he were an active agent of Vladimir Putin and the KGB,” the host said last year about the president. Although Trump said he was considering the trip to Russia, he also said that going might conflict with campaign season. “It’s a very big deal, celebrating the end of the war. I appreciate the invitation, it’s right in the middle of the political season,” said…

Ilhan Omar Bids ‘Good Riddance’ GOP Rep. Peter King; Calls Him ‘Islamophobe’

Published

on

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has become notorious over the last year for the many, many anti-Semitic statements she’s made about Jews and Israel, bid a very not fond farewell to GOP Rep. Peter King, who stated he would not be seeking re-election next November. King, who is 75-years-old, stated he would not be seeking a 15th term in Congress on Monday morning. Omar wasted no time in saying “good riddance.” Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “Peter King is an Islamophobe who held McCarthyite hearings targeting American Muslims, said ‘there are too many mosques in this country’ and blamed Eric Garner for his own death at the hands of police,” the Minnesota freshman congresswoman tweeted. “Good riddance.” https://twitter.com/IlhanMN/status/1193925337379463169 As Omar referenced, King said that there “too many mosques in this country” in a 2007 interview with Politico. He then explained his statement saying, “I think there has been a lack of full cooperation from too many people in the Muslim community.” King later hit back at Politico’s framing of his remarks claiming, “The quote was taken entirely out of context by Politico. My position in this interview, as it has been for many years, is that too many mosques in this country do not cooperate with law enforcement. Unfortunately, Politico was incapable of making this distinction.” Not every Democrat shares Omar’s hatred for King. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer praised King, calling him “principled” and stated he would “miss him in Congress.” https://twitter.com/SenSchumer/status/1193873613746778114 King, in a statement released on Monday, said, “The prime reason for my decision was that after 28 years of spending 4 days a week in Washington, D.C., it is time to end the weekly commute and be home in Seaford.”
