After Her Previous Hissy Fit Over the Tactic, Hillary Has an Inexcusable Request for China

Hillary Clinton hasn’t been known for her forethought, nor was she a particularly well-meaning politician during her time in Washington.

In fact, the overall impression of Clinton seems to be that she is willing to do whatever it takes to behoove herself, including inking backdoor nuclear deals with the Russians, rigging the 2016 primaries against Bernie Sanders, and allowing classified State Department materials to exist on an unsecured, hidden server.  (Oh, and she was found to have used a service called “BleachBit” in order to scrub that server so that the FBI would never be able to decode the information).

In other words:  She isn’t known for her commitment to the truth or to the betterment of the nation…just the betterment of herself.

That’s why it’s almost unsurprising that she would turn petty and childish during the run-up to the 2020 election, and mimic a line from Donald Trump that was once a bee in her own bonnet.

At a news conference in July 2016, then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump famously called for Russia’s assistance in finding Hillary Clinton’s missing emails.

On Wednesday night, Clinton turned the tables, suggesting a plea that one of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates could make: “China, if you’re listening, why don’t you get Trump’s tax returns?”

“I’m sure our media would richly reward you,” Clinton added during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”

Clinton offered the hypothetical as part of an argument that Republicans are letting Russia get away with having aided Trump in the 2016 election.

Clinton’s comments come as the democrats continue to cannibalize one another in the overcrowded 2020 presidential field, leaving a wide path for Donald Trump to saunter through on the way to his second term.
