America’s Payday – Has the Law of Reciprocation Finally Come Knocking

The God who formed the stars and placed the earth here to be both our home and his proving grounds, is not powerless, late, confused, or indifferent.

One of the most famous sermons in U.S. history came from Southern Baptist preacher, Rev R. G. Lee, and was titled “Payday Someday.” Unfortunately, it was a sermon delivered before the advent of modern media, but someone has managed to preserve a rough copy of it on YouTube.

It is a sermon based on the principles of the God given laws of reciprocation, otherwise referred to as “reaping what you sow.”

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal 6:7)

It has many other names such as, cause and effect, karma or making your bed. But by any other name it still only means one thing, you, me, all of us will get back what we put out.

The folly and self-indulgence with which we enter-into our mistakes, will be like a vapor dissolved in the heat of the day by the time the payday arrives.

In his great sermon R. G. Lee included this rhyme by Paul Lawrence Dunbar – it says it all.

This is the price I pay —
Just for one riotous day —
Years of regret and of grief,
And sorrow without relief.
Suffer it I will, my friend,
Suffer it until the end,
Until the grave shall give relief.
Small was the thing I bought,
Small was the thing at best,
Small was the debt, I thought,
But, O God! — the interest.

Ignoring the laws of reciprocation is one mistake, but a far more serious error is to think that it only applies to individuals. Most assuredly, it includes every size group, from few people to an entire nation.

Has America’s time for some pay back finally arrived? Is this only a question asked by prophets and preachers, or is it time for educators, historians, media, and governance to seriously ponder?

All great nations of history had this one thing in common, none of them would heed those who gave them warning.

It matters little who exactly is giving the warning, but it cannot be overstated we can only ignore these warnings at our own peril.

What exactly has our nation been “sowing” – what should we expect to see for the full crop. What have we accepted as part of everyday life, that will soon cost us everything up to our very nationhood?

Apostasy among believers who will not live for their Lord, and there is little doubt they would die for him.

Continuing abortions at the rate of almost 4000 per day. Ignoring the ocean of innocent blood wasted, and the organs and body parts bartered and sold so much meat at the market.

Child and human trafficking which hides and muffles the screams of the exploited under a cloak of secrecy and abuse.

The perversion of homosexuality, given credence by the media, accepted by the crowds, and practiced by fools who will not heed the clearest warning of scripture, that they will be eternally lost in the final day. We are told Sodom was only a city, but the next Sodom will be an entire nation.

The deep perversion, torture, contortion, and obvious offence against nature that we glibly refer to as “transgenderism.” With or without acceptance, a trans-bathroom, and the power to use hormones and surgical knives – it will bring judgement to this nation – swiftly and severely.

Wasting the pliable minds of our youth, by infusing them with critical race theory, socialism, failed Marxism and BLM extremes. And we call this misguidance – education!

The greatest mistake of our nation is the belief that since no one has stopped us, we can pretty much go on forever. But there is a payday someday. Being dumbed down by delay will hardly be an excuse.

“Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ec 8:11)

Fast forward to the present – this is where we find ourselves longing for the past.

Now, we have a fake president in Biden and the humiliation of our nation by his policies in Afghanistan, the southern border and law enforcement. Not only did Biden take the Whitehouse through obvious fraud, but he is governing by naps and vacations. Little wonder that his most hated foe once referred to him as – sleepy Joe.

What else could possibly go wrong.

It is here I will raise the same warning I was given some forty years ago. It is so close today that we can almost taste it. What is that warning? Total national economic collapse in which there will be unforeseen and overwhelming poverty and scarcity.

What keeps a demonically inspired generation from seeing a pathway to repentance or a way to turn around? Firstly they think too much time has passed and they think God is no longer going to do anything, if he ever had a mind to in the first place. Secondly, is the idea that God is a syrupy, mushy sort of Santa Claus figure who is far too busy talking with saints and angels.

Finally, is the general belief that we control everything, as masters of our own destiny. But God controls everything down to the very hairs on our heads.

This is the Biblical list of what God controls on this planet.

Rain and drought

Weather

Fires

Pestilence and disease

Wars

Rise and fall of nations

Wealth and poverty

The hearts of kings and rulers

Life and death on earth

The beginning and ending of all things

Eternal damnation

Eternal salvation

The God who formed the stars and placed the earth here to be both our home and his proving grounds, is not powerless, late, confused, or indifferent.

Prophetically speaking, every word of God is true and quite well on schedule.

The Systemic Antisemitism Of the Woke Culture and Modern Leftism

They claim to be fighting against hatred, but truth is there is systemic antisemitism of woke and cancel culture which media doesn’t report.

Published

on

The far left has been injecting Antisemitism into the American political discourse since the early 1970s when leftist African American leaders such as Jesse Jackson, Andrew Young, Louis Farrakhan, and the beloved bigot, Al Sharpton, all went public with their Antisemitism. One would think that in today’s times of wokeism and cancel culture, the Jew-haters of the left would be exposed, shamed, and weeded out of the leftist movements. However, the opposite is happening. antisemitism of woke culture

According to Melissa Langsam Braunstein of the National Examiner, fighting Antisemitism can get you canceled.

Woke theology teaches that Jews are privileged oppressors. So, when Jews are literally assaulted on the streets by the Left’s political allies, the incidents become Rorschach tests. Many view Jews as victims, but the woke prefer to intimate that Jews must be the aggressors. As a general rule, leftists don’t blame victims unless they’re Jewish.

One thing you may have noticed with the rise of Anti-Semitic attacks in the U.S. concurrent with the recent Israel-Hamas war is that Antisemitism is that in most cases liberals didn’t criticize anti-Semitic attacks without mentioning Islamophobia despite the fact that there was no actual link between the two.

But that’s not totally new. In 2019 when some Democrats wanted to rebuke Rep. Omar for her Antisemitism, the Congressional Black Caucus blocked the resolution because it didn’t mention Islamophobia. Instead, they passed a generic resolution that basically said that being mean to others is bad. Really? I learned that lesson when I was a child watching programs such as Romper Room, Howdy Doody, and Captain Kangaroo. As for the Jew-hating Rep Omar, she not only voted for the measure but celebrated it as a step toward fighting Islamophobia.

At the end of June 2021, “April Powers, previously Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), left her position following an outcry that she did not mention Islamophobia in her statement about the rise in crimes against Jews.”

But has the increase in Jew hatred been matched with an increase in Muslim hatred? Per the Examiner:

Since the NYPD regularly updates hate crime data, let’s review New York’s statistics. Of the 238 hate crimes reported in the nation’s largest city from Jan. 1 through May 30 of this year, 86 targeted Jews. This marked a 37% increase over January to May 2020. By contrast, NYPD recorded one anti-Muslim crime between January 1 and May 30; that’s a 50% decrease compared to 2020. This is all to say, there is no evidence of a spring uptick in anti-Muslim hate crimes in New York (or elsewhere). May was a dangerous month for Jews.

To put it more succinctly, tying Islamophobia to Antisemitism is just bull crap.

America’s Universities, seen by some as the home of liberal wokeness, is doing all they can to increase Antisemitism in this country, sometimes under the “cloak” of anti-Zionism. On July first, Algemeiner reported on the trend. Some of the many examples include:

One example was the African American Studies department at Penn State University, which issued a statement condemning “Israeli settler-colonialism and apartheid in solidarity with Palestinians’ struggle for liberation,” “Jewish supremacy,” and stating, “we join calls from the Black Lives Matter Movement to recognize that the struggle against state-sanctioned anti-Black violence is interconnected with anti-Palestinian violence and that Afro Palestinians have born the brunt of dispossession and rightlessness while also speaking out against police terror in Jerusalem.

Most ominous were anti-Israel condemnations that explicitly called for the politicization of classrooms. A statement called “Palestine & Praxis” characterized the conflict as “the Palestinian struggle as an indigenous liberation movement confronting a settler colonial state” and described Israel as “a brute force that enshrines territorial theft and the racial supremacy of Jewish-Zionist nationals.”

Part of the reason this is allowed to fester is the Democratic Party’s refusal to condemn the large segment of its congressional delegation and White House executives who are anti-Semitic and the MSM’s refusal to report on the hatred.

William Daroff, Senior Vice President for Public Policy & Director of the Washington office of The Jewish Federations of North America, tweeted about what Obama was saying in a meeting where he was trying to sell the Iran deal. “Jews are leading the effort to kill #Irandeal. ‘Same people opposing the deal led us into Iraq war. ”Daroff followed with “Canard: Jews got us into Iraq War.” The same MSM that falsely accused Donald Trump of Antisemitism ignored Obama pushing anti-Semitic slanders that the Jews pushed this country to attack Iraq. When Obama blamed the Jews for getting the U.S. into the Iraq war, for example, the media was silent.

Another contributor is groups like the ADL, which became a leftist lapdog beginning with the tenure of Abe Foxman, to the point that it doesn’t report on anti-Semitism when it comes from the left. Another major Jewish Organization, The American Jewish Committee, partnered with the ADL to beg American Jews not to point out the hatred of the Obama Administration.

Barack Obama invited anti-Israel group J Street which supports the anti-Semitic BDS movement, to presidential meetings. At the same time, he disinvited the Zionist Organization of America. The ZOA was disinvited because of its conservative leanings. The ADL and AJC stood silent, too timid to speak out against the leftist Obama about losing an essential pro-Jewish, pro-Israel voice. Per former Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren, those groups were told by the leftist Obama that he would purposely drive a wedge between the United States and Israel, they were silent about that also. Many of those Jewish organizations such as the ADL, AJC, and J Street are just as far left as Obama and Biden.

Gentile and Jewish Leftists will not criticize Antisemitism unless their criticism includes the non-existent Islamophobia—otherwise, Jew-hatred doesn’t matter—even to supposed Jewish Groups.

Wokeism and Cancel Culture see Jews through the lens of the ancient anti-Semitic stereotypes that began with the Egyptian Pharoah in the Book of Exodus–those powerful Jews only care about themselves. Or as it says in Exodus 1:8-10

A new king arose over Egypt, who did not know about Joseph. He said to his people, “Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more numerous and stronger than we are. Get ready, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they increase, and a war befall us, and they join our enemies and wage war against us and depart from the land.”

But this is not ancient Egypt–it is today. And all who believe in the promise of America must fight Antisemitism and the Wokeism and the Cancel Culture now running the left and the Democratic Party while opposing the fight against the world’s oldest hatred.

Note To The Anti-American Wokers in Congress like Reps Cori Bush and Mad Maxine Waters. Despite the Antisemitism coming from your side of the aisle, the United States is still the freest and best country in the world. Unlike you two idiots I am proud to be an American.

How to Keep Your Kids From Becoming Liberal

here is beauty and goodness in a community of like-minded families.

Published

Socialism, atheism, hyper-sexualism, wokeism, and the belief that America is evil is now the norm in government schools. I saw this coming years ago before my wife and I started our family which led us to homeschool our children. But we quickly learned that simply schooling at home was not enough. Please read the following message from my wife. It could save your family a lot of heartache, like it saved ours.

Brandon Vallorani, Founder of Flag and Cross and Thrasher Coffee

I began homeschooling in 2000, when my oldest daughter turned 4 years old. Armed with my bachelor’€™s degree in education and a lifelong desire to teach, I felt confident in my abilities. By 2012, our dream of a full house came true. We now had 7 children ages 16 years old down to newborn. Life was crazy but good.

In the midst of raising an infant, toddlers, and teenagers, I had begun to notice some serious learning struggles with one of our children. Over the next two years, I sought help anywhere I could turn. Desperately trying to fix our problems, I scheduled appointments for testing with child psychologists and made numerous changes to our homeschool routine.

Countless hours were spent in prayer. Nothing was working. I was overwhelmed and on the verge of quitting completely. And then I attended an informational meeting about Classical Conversations.

Immediately inspired, my plan was to save€ the youngest members of our family by joining a Classical Conversations Community. I had been homeschooling for 14 years without a support system, and we all needed friends to stand in the gap.

At this informational meeting, I learned about Classical Christian education: grammar, dialectic, and rhetorical stages. I saw a Director light up as she described the beauty of the program. They spoke about the power of community. I was hooked, and we jumped in with both feet, enrolling our oldest son in Challenge II, and 4 others in Foundations/Essentials.

Classical Conversations saved our family immense heartache because it saved me from giving up. I was no longer alone; I’d found a support system of moms who were willing to be my comrades in arms, standing in the trenches with me as we work towards the same goals.

We build each other up. Where I am weak, a friend is strong. There is beauty and goodness in a community of like-minded families. My children also found friends in community, which has put the €œfun€ back into their lives! Finally having a support system after 14 years of homeschooling alone gave me the courage to continue.

Classical Conversations introduced me to the Classical model of education. I have learned so much about the development of a child’s brain and how it correlates to learning something that I was not taught in college! I’ve learned the value of memorizing facts and figures with the youngest learners, who have a God given ability to absorb like a sponge.

Government schools have given up on this time-tested approach and kids are suffering from a myriad of learning issues. I’€™ve learned to use the 5 Common Topics to ask questions and make connections, allowing my older students to discover knowledge and gain understanding. I’ve watched my teenage boys grow into rhetorical young men who are able to defend what they believe with others. Liberals don’€™t stand a chance debating my sons! This is the result of classical education through Classical Conversations.

Classical Conversations also provided our family with a true Christ-centered education. We have learned to see God as the center of all learning. After all, He is the Author and Creator of everything. All knowledge and wisdom begins and ends with Him. Real history is taught, not the revisionist history taught in American government schools. Classical Conversations helps families see the thread of our Creator woven through all areas of life, and gives them the tools to defend their faith.

Our family has been with Classical Conversations for 7 years. We’€™ve seen 3 graduates and have enrolled children in every program level, from 4 years old through Challenge IV. I have tutored Foundations, Essentials, and Challenge A, as well as serving as a practicum speaker, so I am thoroughly invested.
With 9 more years of homeschooling ahead, I am so thankful we partnered with Classical Conversations for the journey. Our lives are forever changed for the better.

If you would like more information about homeschooling, or perhaps you’re the nearly burned out homeschool mom that I was, please visit Classical Conversations. You will discover how this program equips and encourages parents and students as we seek To Know God and Make Him Known.
