An End in Sight? Thursday Votes Scheduled That Could End Shutdown

We can only hope now that the egos of our public servants doesn’t get in the way of real progress.

With 31 days of government obsolescence already behind us, the congressional cretins will be back at it on Thursday, with a possible solution.

The partial shutdown of our government has been a burden for not only our legislative branch, but for nearly one million Americans who are being asked to work without receiving a paycheck.  The severity of the issue has grown exponentially, as a great many government workers have been forced to look for other employment.

This has led to a number of issues with airport security, as TSA agents are simply refusing to work.

An end to the shutdown is priority number one for America, and Senate leaders are hoping to hammer out a deal in the coming days.

But there will be movement in the Senate in the coming days following an announcement by President Donald Trump over the weekend that would trade protections for DACA recipients — undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children — for wall funding. Though the plan was quickly rejected by Democrats, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced on the Senate floor Tuesday that there would be a vote on a bill resembling the president’s plan.

“It’s a strong proposal, its the only thing on the table and later this week we’ll vote on it,” McConnell said Tuesday afternoon. Senate leaders later Tuesday announced there would be votes Thursday both on the GOP plan and a House Democratic measure to reopen and fund the government. Both will need 60 votes to advance.

McConnell then dropped a bit of blunt, Kentucky straight-talk on us.

“Do Democrats really want to throw federal workers, and all Americans, under the bus — just to keep their political fight going with the president?” McConnell said.

Pro-Trump Georgia Democrat Says Kamala Harris Is ‘The Wrong Person’ To Win The Black Vote

Published

Georgia Democratic state Rep. Vernon Jones, who is bold and brave enough to have tossed his support behind President Donald Trump, stated that Democrats thought Sen. Kamala Harris, who has been announced as Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate, would “help them save the Black vote, but that was the wrong person for that job to do that.” Jones made these controversial statements on the Wednesday morning edition of “Fox & Friends,” just one day after Biden made the announcement concerning Harris. One of the interesting facts about Harris the left hasn’t addressed yet is her deep background with law enforcement. Here is more from Fox News: “This was a good day for President Trump” Jones said. He then pointed out that “Trump has a better record on helping black men and women than Kamala Harris has, than Joe Biden has and as this story gets told more and more African-Americans are coming his way and that is what they’re afraid of.” “She flip-flops,” Jones added on Wednesday. He also accused her of saying “anything she can to get elected.” “Joe Biden has the right string, but the wrong yo-yo,” he went on to say, pointing out that Harris is “liberal.” “She accused Biden of being biased when it came to busing,” Jones added. He’s absolutely spot on about her flip-flopping on the issues. Whatever the popular take on a leftist agenda item happens to be at the moment, that’s the stance she’s going to take. Period. She’s an opportunist to the core. There are no principles, not even leftist ones, to which she seems beholden to, and that’s dangerous. Someone like that is easy to control, to manipulate. To use as a mouthpiece for agenda items passed down from those in power in the Democratic Party. And make no…

Biden’s VP Pick Kamala Harris Actively Promoted Group That Provided Bail For Alleged Violent Criminals

Published

Sen. Kamala Harris, who has been tapped to be Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate on Tuesday, supported and promoted an organization that helped to provide bail money for violent criminals who were arrested during the riots that exploded after the death of George Floyd. That same group has now gone on to put up bail for an alleged murderer and a previously convicted rapist. A report from FOX 9 on Monday revealed that the group, Minnesota Freedom Fund, has in recent weeks bailed out people like Darnika Floyd, who was charged with second-degree murder after allegedly killing a friend by stabbing them to death. They also provided bail support for Christopher Boswell, who is currently facing charges of sexual assault and kidnapping. The MFF helped put up $100,000 for Floyd and $350,000 for Boswell. Check out the details from Fox News: MFF received about $35 million in the wake of Floyd’s death — which came after a Minneapolis Police Department officer knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes — with at least some of it coming from a number of Biden staffers who donated to the group and then tweeted about it. And Harris, D-Calif., a former prosecutor who served as the attorney general of California for six years, promoted the fund herself in a June 1 tweet, telling her followers that the group would be able to help protesters swept up in clashes with police as unrest gripped Minneapolis. https://twitter.com/KamalaHarris/status/1267555018128965643 But MFF, which received so much money amid the unrest that it asked people to start donating to other groups instead, didn’t just bail out protesters who may have been victims of overzealous policing. FOX 9 also reported that Jaleel Stallings, who is accused of shooting at police during the May riots, was bailed out by MFF…
