Anti-Gun Parkland Survivor Calls Upon Trolls for New Mission Against Trump

Linkedin Share

Gun control activist and Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg is up to his old tricks, this time, instead of rallying the vast number of Internet trolls lurking in the dark to boycott someone and destroy their livelihood, he’s calling them to start perpetually trolling President Trump.

Isn’t this kid just a regular chip off the old block?

He told his 809,000 followers that they should respond to every tweet posted by the president with demands for gun control.

“We should all tweet ‘Why didn’t you ban bump-stocks and raise the age to purchase firearm to 21 when you said you would? Are you afraid of the @NRA?’ on every @realDonaldTrump tweet from now on,” Mr. Hogg tweeted.

Mr. Hogg had another idea to troll the president, apparently inspired by his success last week against Publix grocery chain.
“So when are we doing a die-in at Trump Hotel?” he wrote.

One particularly astute follower on Twitter exposed the fatal flaws in Hogg’s thinking. Well, a few of the fatal flaws anyway. There’s way too many to sit here and go through them all.

Dude. Do you understand how the government works?

POTUS cannot magically ban and move the age up to buy a firearm. Maybe look at the other branches?

Of course your blind followers will retweet this and not understand a damn thing.

Apparently, they don’t teach the fundamentals of how our government functions in Florida public schools, because if they did Hogg here would know full well that pestering Trump isn’t going to help him accomplish his goals at all. Since we have the separation of powers and it’s Congress who makes the laws and all.

Then again, he probably knows this, and is just going after the president so that he can continue to keep himself in the spotlight just a little bit longer and make those headlines.

Seems to be the way “activism” works these days.
