Anti-Trump filmmaker Spike Lee joined Joe Scarborough’s MSNBC show to blast America’s past and label Christopher Columbus a “terrorist.”

Lee was clad in a sweater and hat that read, “1619.”

Why?

Here’s why…

Lee was wearing a black hat and a hooded sweatshirt, both emblazoned with “1619,” the year which he said “the first slaves were brought to this country, Jamestown, Virginia.

Lee: “I think that a lot of people need to know this. Because this is part of American history, which is not all good. You know, I think that when I was in public school in Brooklyn, New York, I was not told George Washington owned slaves. I was told that he chopped down the cherry tree and wouldn’t tell a lie. In 1492, this guy, this terrorist sailed the ocean blue.

He added: “I mean, we have got to start teaching, I feel, my opinion, let’s be honest about our history and let’s move forward.

MSNBC is a much funnier network than Comedy Central.

They know what makes the people laugh and they constantly deliver the goods.

What’s weird is how their ratings never surpass Fox News. Hmm.

Oh, well.

Host Joy-Ann Reid agrees with guest Elie Mystal.

The way to “get” President Donald Trump is to go after his children.

ELIE MYSTAL: “Do you remember in ‘The Firm,’ how Tom Cruise brings down the entire mob on overbilling? In these reports, what we have is Ivanka Trump, as part of the Trump organization, overbilling the inaugural committee. That could be it right there. What we now have — this is the first time — look, we’ve talked a lot about Don Jr., we know now he was at the Trump Tower meeting, we talked a lot about Eric, because he seems to be Fredo.”

This is the first time that we have Ivanka—which is like the only kid he likes—in the crosshairs. She apparently, according to these reports, was involved with overcharging the inaugural committee, and somebody had to tell her: this is going to look bad when we get audited. For a long time I thought that the only way we are really going to get to Trump is if you go after his kids. If you put the kids in legal peril, that’s the only thing that’s going to shock him out of his lying, deceitful, cocoon. And this could be the way to do it.

JOY REID: “There is this finding that people — we’re going to talk about this later in the show — that you can’t indict a sitting President. But it doesn’t say anything about a sitting President’s daughter.

Over 60 million Americans voted for Donald Trump. Over 60 million Americans voted for Hillary Clinton.

Of course, the former first lady won the popular vote. However, the former businessman won the electoral vote.

One of those things matters more than the other and for good reason.

It is to prevent tyranny of the majority.

According to MSNBC, though, Trump wasn’t “democratically” elected.

MSNBC panelists have come to the astute conclusion that President Donald Trump wasn’t actually elected — at least not “democratically.”

During an off-the-rails segment Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Hardball” with host Chris Matthews, two separate panelists claimed that Trump’s hush money payments in 2016 to adult film star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal “robbed the American people of their right to vote.”

Here’s what host Lawrence O’Donnell has to say about border patrol:

They destroy water bottles that are left in the desert by Samaritans that are doing what Donald Trump’s bible tells them to do.

The problem?

The video shown by O’Donnell is from 2011 and published in 2013.

Hmm.

Who was president during that time?

Shame.
