Antifa Obtains List of ICE Agents From LinkedIn, What They Did With it is Super Dangerous

Linkedin Share

Violent radical leftist group Antifa has compiled a list of over 1,500 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ identities and put them on blast over Twitter, exposing them and their families to harassment and the possibility of physical danger.

The Twitter account known as “Nebraska antifa” is responsible for posting the tweet containing a link to the information they gathered through the social network.

“Some enterprising hero archived the ICE employees listed on linkedin,” the tweet reads.

A Twitter user who goes by Sam Lavigne compiled the list of ICE agents’ identities, titles and locations. In a tweet on Tuesday morning he says he “scraped LinkedIn for people that work for ICE.”

The Medium link in Lavigne’s was no longer available as of Tuesday night.

While the original post of ICE personal information has been removed, the Antifa Twitter account linked to an archived post, where viewers can access the Lavigne’s original database.

Lavigne created the database in response to ICE’s “inhumane” efforts in on the border, according to his archived Medium post.

“I’ve downloaded and made available the profiles of (almost) everyone on LinkedIn who works for ICE, 1,595 people in total. While I don’t have a precise idea of what should be done with this data set, I leave it here with the hope that researchers, journalists, and activists will find it useful,” Lavigne wrote on Medium.

The Medium post spread to r/ChapoTrapHouse on Reddit, a subgroup for a podcast made up of far-left activists who encourage doxxing those who they deem Nazis and alt-right. Some users appear to consider ICE and National Security Agency employees Nazis.

One reddit user said “Dox more Nazis” on the thread.

Another user commented “Doxxing ICE agents is good and moral.” Perhaps they won’t think this is true if something happens to an agent on the list or their family and they end up being called in for an investigation for helping to spread this information across the Internet?

Lavigne didn’t stop there, however. He also tweeted out a screenshot from ICE’s chief technology officer the day after Father’s Day. The post contained a photograph of the officer with his son.

This is inexcusable behavior and due to the potential for physical danger and harassment that exists, an investigation needs to be opened immediately, and those responsible for leaking this information arrested.

If you don’t agree with a governmental policy, by all means, protest legally against it. However, the right to protest, to air grievances, is not a license to put people in physical danger in the hope of making change their minds about a political issue.

Using some sort of force and threat of violence or harassment to get people to support political change is terrorism. Thus more proof that Antifa should be labeled a terrorist organization and treated as such.

Add this to the list of violent acts they’ve been accused of and it makes total sense.
