AOC Comes to Ilhan Omar’s Defense After Horrifying 9/11 Comment By BASHING War Hero

This is so RIDICULOUS!

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar said “some people did something” on 9/11 and the mainstream media hardly batted an eye.

Of course, conservatives took notice and called her out.

Fellow freshman Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) predictably came to Omar’s defense, but did so by mocking Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw (TX), war hero.

Omar delivered the keynote speech at a fundraiser for CAIR in late March and urged Muslim Americans to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable.” In one part of her speech that surfaced on Twitter this week, Omar described the 9/11 attacks in a peculiar way.

Omar noted, “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.

Now, the AOC and Crenshaw fracas – per The Daily Wire:

The 29-year-old former bartender attacked Crenshaw, a decorated war hero, by suggesting that he was not fighting for the families of 9/11 victims and saying that he should “go do something” about terrorism.

As a Navy SEAL, Crenshaw lost his eye fighting terrorists in Afghanistan and earned 2 Bronze Stars (one with Valor), the Purple Heart, the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, and other awards.

Crenshaw’s tweet about Omar:

First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.

Unbelievable.

AOC’s dastardly response:

You refuse to cosponsor the 9/11 Victim’s Compensation Fund, yet have the audacity to drum resentment towards Ilhan w/completely out-of-context quotes.

In 2018, right-wing extremists were behind almost ALL US domestic terrorist killings. Why don’t you go do something about that?

Why is Alexandria’s tweet so nutty? Well, here are a couple of reasons…

This is pretty deceptive.

The bill has *not* even been voted on in the House.

A person does *not* have to cosponsor a bill to vote in support of it.

The other day, Omar referred to White House adviser Stephen Miller, a Jew, as a “white nationalist.”

If you think that might not make sense, it’s because it doesn’t.

Her tweet:

Stephen Miller is a white nationalist. The fact that he still has influence on policy and political appointments is an outrage.

President Trump responded, sending a pair of tweets aimed right at Ilhan.

Mayor Cancels LGBTQ Pride Flag Raising At City Hall. You Can Probably Guess What Happened Next

Insert eye roll here.

The city administration of Reading, Pennsylvania is being called discriminatory by rabid left-wingers after canceling a ceremony to raise an LGBTQ pride flag at city hall on Monday of this week. City hall canceled the flag ceremony because flying the flag would be showing support for a “political movement” and no flags supporting such movements are to be flown at city hall. via TheBlaze: “People don’t realize how many people come here looking to put up flags for movements and stuff, and I’m just not part of that, and I don’t think we should be,” the Democrat added to WPVI-TV. The LGBT Center of Greater Reading issued a statement saying “what was supposed to be a proud and historical moment” turned into “a show of blatant, unacceptable discrimination.” “We are not a cause,” the statement added. “We are human beings protected by an anti-discrimination ordinance in the City of Reading.” Local LGBTQ leaders told WPVI they plan to file a complaint with the city’s Human Relations Commission. Why should LGBTQ folks have a flag flying at city hall? If all they want is to be treated like everyone else, to be considered equal, why do they continually seek to have more rights and be a protected group? That just doesn’t make any sense. It seems pretty clear what they are really reaching for is normalization. They want other people to accept their lifestyle as normal and acceptable, to be validated. This is because deep down, they know such a lifestyle is sinful and goes against nature. This is identity politics at its finest.

NY Times Makes Insane Claim About Soviets During The Space Race

The folks at the NY Times must be just plain miserable.

Published

on

So it’s beginning to seem like the folks over at the NY Times have some sort of strange infatuation with the oppressive Communist overlords from the Soviet Union, as they’re now, on the cusp of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing, claiming that the Soviet Union actually won the space race. How, exactly, did they do that? Through “equality.” This, ladies and gentlemen, is just how much the left hates America. Here’s more from TheBlaze: Here’s Sophie Pinkham’s main argument: The Cold War was fought as much on an ideological front as a military one, and the Soviet Union often emphasized the sexism and racism of its capitalist opponents — particularly the segregated United States. And the space race was a prime opportunity to signal the U.S.S.R.’s commitment to equality. After putting the first man in space in 1961, the Soviets went on to send the first woman, the first Asian man, and the first black man into orbit — all years before the Americans would follow suit. Pinkham joins a long list of NYT writers who have glorified the excesses of the Soviet Union. In his – ironically – New York Times best-selling book, “Unfreedom of the Press,” LevinTV host Mark Levin exposed this long history, dating back to Walter Duranty and his propaganda about Stalin’s regime. For nearly a century, the Times has lauded the murderous thugs who ran the Soviet Union and the system they employed. This week, as America celebrates one of her crowning achievements of the 20th century, the Times piles on again, this time by glorifying a few of the people the Soviet’s brutal regime didn’t kill for disagreeing with it. How crazy is this? Apparently these folks are forgetting about how homosexuality is viewed in Russia to this day. It’s not…
