AOC Gets EMBARRASSING Polling News in New York

Perhaps this is just a side effect of pervasive progressivism, but the left side of American politics is always looking for that shiny, new thing.

Sure, the idea that you should never ever stop changing in order to improve the world sounds industrious and studious.  In reality, however, there are limits that we must face honestly, and there are certain aspects of the world at large that maybe don’t needs all that change.

That may be a philosophical/political argument for another day, but it serves to prove a point of liberalism; it is always at odds with itself.  When nothing is good enough, and change is the only constant, you can never win.  You can only run.  And run, and run, and run.

This has led the left to turn away from conventional wisdom when it comes to electing public servants as well, with a slew of nontraditional Congresspersons making their way to Capitol Hill after the 2018 midterm elections.

And while nontraditional can help us to expand our political horizons, nontraditional can also mean inexperienced.  As in; these democrats have no political experience whatsoever, so they are nontraditional Congresspersons now.

New York looks to be coming to a similar conclusion in recent weeks on the subject of freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

President Trump is more popular than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio in the deep blue state of New York.

Buried in a Siena College poll is the fascinating news that Trump earns 36 percent support in one of the most left-wing state in the country; which is not terribly surprising or terribly high, but it is higher than  two of the state’s most famous far-left Democrats.

Ocasio-Crazy’s state-wide approval rating currently sits at a terrible 31 percent, while de Blasio does only a little better at 34 percent.

The bartender-turned-congresswoman has been at the center of much of Capitol Hill’s recent humor, having become the butt of several jokes online often for her youth and alleged lack of intelligence.
