AOC Implies That Republicans Are Lazy, But She Is A Very Hard Worker
Members of Congress shouldn’t receive anywhere near $174,000 annually. Pelosi and McConnell make even more than that. Really, politicians should merely receive a very small, monthly stipend.
Once these people leave office – if ever – they earn millions through speaking engagements and books deals.
But before that time comes, we’re all stuck with the likse of Ocasio-Cortez.
From The Daily Wire:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was slammed online late this week after suggesting that she was a hard worker while Republicans just “sit around on leather chairs all day.”
LOOK:
Republicans like to make fun of the fact that I used to be a waitress, but we all know if they ever had to do a double they’d be the ones found crying in the walk-in fridge halfway through their first shift bc someone yelled at them for bringing seltzer when they wanted sparkling

REACTIONS:
You used to be a waitress, I was a chimney sweep. Both stand as a testament to the great opportunity we have in America. The difference is, as conservatives we believe "if I can do it you can do it" and are fighting to make sure that never changes. https://t.co/14cLf1ozRV

This is wrong.
I was a waitress for 5+ years throughout high school and college. I am a Republican and I cried in walk-in fridges just like you.
The difference between us? I don’t expect the gvt to provide for me. I make my own $ and provide for myself. https://t.co/NHMxhkSkkp

I am confused as to why you think there are no working class Republicans who have a much harder life than you. There are. https://t.co/Qfz2QAL7nM

I spent my first week in the Army on 4 hours of sleep a night and a sprained ankle, digging one hole to fill in the hole I had just dug the hour before.
