As we become more and more acquainted with the character known as Michael Avenatti, we have begun to peek behind the curtain of his sudden rise to fame.
Avenatti rose to prominence as the extroverted and consistently annoyed lawyer for Stormy Daniels – a former adult film actress who saw an opportunity to sue the President as a way to sell tickets for her national tour of strip clubs. If there was any doubt that this was the case, Daniels’ management named the tour “Make America Horny Again”- a direct homage to the President’s ethos-like slogan.
To say that America considered Avenatti a bit of a scumbag would be an understatement. He was even gifted the unforgettable nickname of “creepy porn lawyer” by popular television host Tucker Carlson…a name that has stuck despite Avenatti’s vocal and vociferous opposition to it.
Now, after being arrested for domestic violence, Avenatti’s true nature is being revealed ever more succinctly.
As if his arrest wasn’t enough, his excuse for his actions are infuriatingly classless.
Our sources say the alleged incident occurred Tuesday night, but there was another confrontation Wednesday between the two at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.
We’re told Wednesday afternoon the woman was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes, sobbing and screaming on the phone, “I can’t believe you did this to me. I’m going to get a restraining order against you.”
Now for the kicker, with emphasis by us.
We’re told security brought her inside the building, took her upstairs and Michael showed up 5 minutes later and ran into the building. He screamed repeatedly, “She hit me first.” We’re told he angrily added, “This is bulls***, this is f***ing bulls***.” We’re told he tried getting into the elevator but security denied him access.
Any man using this excuse to strike a woman is no man at all.
Stormy Daniels has released a statement that she will be seeing new representation should these accusations prove true.
