Bader Ginsburg Given $1 Million Prize for Being A ‘Thinker’ Whose Ideas Have Had Profound Impact

Everyone good with this?

Life must be a lot simpler for lefties. They don’t worry about what is and isn’t moral. They don’t answer to a higher authority. They think they are GOD and their rules are what everyone else should live by.

What can you do? That’s the beauty of free will. But to award radically far-left SCOTUS Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg an award with a $1 million prize for being a “thinker” seems like just a bit of a stretch.

If anyone should be winning awards it’s a conservative like Thomas Sowell. Sowell is a brilliant black man who advances conservative principles but the uninformed would never know it because the media cares more about Cardi B’s thoughts on politics.

From USA Today:

Add a prestigious $1 million “thinkers” award to Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s fame and fortune.

The 2019 Berggruen Prize for Philosophy & Culture is given annually to “thinkers whose ideas have profoundly shaped human self-understanding and advancement in a rapidly changing world.”

Ginsburg, 86, who has served 26 years on the Supreme Court and survived four bouts with cancer, was chosen from more than 500 nominees, later winnowed down to five. She is the fourth recipient of the prize and the third woman.

Senate Democrats posted a poll on Twitter asking Americans if they want more Brett Kavanaugh’s or Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s on the Supreme Court.

What happened next is the stuff of legend.

In fact, DSCC actually deleted the tweet after the numbers skewed so heavily in Kavanaugh’s favor.

HAHAHAHA! 71-29 in favor of the winner, “Justice Kavanaugh.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders, who enjoyed a victory in New Hampshire’s primary and a good showing in Iowa, is tied for the top spot in a Virginia poll with former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg. Virginia is one of the larger states to be holding a primary on Super Tuesday in two weeks. Check out the details from Fox News: Former Vice President Joe Biden stands at 18 percent in the poll, just 4 percentage points behind Sanders and Bloomberg. Their slight edge over the former vice president is within the survey’s sampling error. According to the poll, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg registers at 11 percent, with Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota at 9 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts at 5 percent, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii at just 1 percent and billionaire environmental and progressive advocate Tom Steyer at less than 1 percent. So does Bloomberg, the billionaire Republican-turned-independent-turned-Democrat who announced his presidential bid less than three months ago. Former Vice President Joe Biden stands at…

DOJ Launches Five Probes Into Investigators Involved In Mueller Russia Probe

Published

on

Several of the investigators involved in the Mueller Russia probe, Ukraine investigation, and matters related to Hillary Clinton and her various scandals around the 2016 presidential election are all being investigated by the Department of Justice. As you can imagine, the left is probably very nervous about this, hoping that whatever conclusions are reached do not expose further activities by the “resistance” within the government working against the Trump administration. Check out the details from Fox News: Attorney General Bill Barr appointed the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Jeff Jensen to review the case of former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Justice Department officials told Fox News that Jensen will work hand-in-hand with Brandon Van Grack — the lead prosecutor on the Flynn case — during his review. Barr last week confirmed that the Justice Department is reviewing information about Ukraine coming from President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and others. Barr has tapped U.S. Attorney from the Western District of Pennsylvania Scott Brady to handle that Ukraine information. That review comes after the president was acquitted on charges — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — stemming from the Ukraine controversy. Last year, Barr appointed U.S. Attorney from Connecticut John Durham to review the events leading up to the 2016 presidential election and through Trump’s January 20, 2017 inauguration. But, as Fox News first reported, Durham has since expanded his investigation to cover a post-election timeline spanning the spring of 2017 — when Mueller was appointed as special counsel. Another probe looking into the Clinton Foundation is also still underway, along with further looks into the granting of a FISA warrant during the Russia probe and Clinton server document release. These are all shady incidents that desperately need further examination to expose any political corruption…
