Bernie Asked If Socialism Will Hurt Him In Election, Says We’re Living Under Socialism Now (Watch)

That’s some kind of spin…

To be a successful politician, you have to be able to spin. Even if someone asks you a point blank, direct question, you never want to answer without flipping the entire premise on its head.

2020 Democrat frontrunner Bernie Sanders (VT) has mastered his craft. He knows what to say to keep his uninformed base in the dark and that’s the way he likes it.

When asked if he thinks being a socialist will hurt him in a hypothetical general election matchup against President Trump, Bernie managed to say something completely ignorant while simultaneously thinking he’s correct.

And here’s Bernie saying his health care plan will cover illegal aliens…

Failed 2020 candidate Bill de Blasio is set to join the “squad” in endorsing Sanders.

From Politico:

NEW YORK — New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio will endorse Bernie Sanders for president — a move intended to advance his own elusive quest for national relevance while underscoring his background as a left-leaning, establishment-wary Democrat, according to people familiar with the mayor’s plans.

Though he styles himself a political risk-taker, the mayor is only taking the plunge after Sanders emerged victorious from the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, rather than when the Vermont senator’s chances seemed more tenuous last year.

Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was big into eugenics. She fought for abortion in order to keep the minority population low.

What’s wild is that Democrats don’t believe she’s a racist. In fact, she’s praised.

Bernie Sanders pretty much echoed Sanger’s words.

When asked about overpopulation, Bernie noted: “The answer has everything to do with the fact that women in the United States of America, by the way, have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions. And the Mexico City agreement which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control to me is totally absurd.

He added, “So I think, especially in poor countries around the world, where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies, and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have [is] something I very, very strongly support.

California Bar’s Side Hustle: Fake COVID Vaccination Cards

Police were able to buy several of the phony cards last month.

As we begin to enter into whatever this new “normalcy” will be in the coming weeks, there are concerns among some that unvaccinated Americans could soon be treated like second-class citizens in their own country. This has already been a bit of an issue in certain industries, with airlines pushing hard to establish a coronavirus vaccine passport system, and several major league sports venues having declared that they will segregate the vaccinated and unvaccinated fans who attend their games. This has now spurred a strange side hustle for one California bar. The owner of a San Joaquin County bar was arrested this week for allegedly selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards. Investigators say the operation ran for weeks out of the Old Corner Saloon in Clements, which has a population of 941. The local sheriff’s office got a tip that fake vaccine cards were being manufactured and sold out of the bar, complete with laminations. The investigation was fairly cut and dry. Investigators with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control then took over. “Undercover agents with our Special Operations Unit were able to purchase multiple cards in April,” said Luke Blehm, deputy division chief at the Alcoholic Beverage Control. “As a result, we also observed several sales of fraudulent COVID-19 vaccination cards to other patrons,” Blehm said. The owner of the bar was selling the cards for only $20.

Ron DeSantis Trolls Mainstream Media with Bill Signing Stunt

The outrage came quickly.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has long been a thorn in the side of the liberal left, and this week is certainly no different. DeSantis on Thursday signed one of the strictest voting enforcement bills in the nation, in a move that has been applauded by conservative groups around the country. Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida signed new voting legislation into law on Thursday. It enacts restrictions on voting by mail and at drop boxes, which Democrats and activists warn could suppress voter turnout. DeSantis, a Republican, signed the bill, which was passed by the GOP-controlled legislature last month, live on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” during an interview with the show’s hosts. Throughout the week, the governor had been holding more formal bill-signing ceremonies across the state as he signed bills into law. DeSantis argued that the bill protects the “integrity and transparency” of Florida’s elections and that after the 2020 election, which was successful, the changes will keep the state “ahead of the curve,” echoing the message Republicans have used for months to push back on criticism of their legislation. But DeSantis’ choice to bar all media outlets except for Fox News was controversial. https://twitter.com/stevebousquet/status/1390268388493103104?s=20 https://twitter.com/jayobtv/status/1390274698370551810?s=20 https://twitter.com/RedWingGrips/status/1390300886031798272?s=20 https://twitter.com/stevebousquet/status/1390285632761733123?s=20 DeSantis also made headlines on Friday for providing every law enforcement officer in the state with a $1,000 bonus.
