Biden Gets Bad News in Latest Polling from The Sunshine State
As Americans have long understood, carrying the state of Florida is nearly necessary to any successful presidential campaign.
The Sunshine State has long been one of the most prescient and pressing swing states in the entire nation, along with Ohio and Pennsylvania. This means that candidates often spend a great deal of time and money campaigning in Florida, with pollsters and other politicos spending untold resources attempting to get a better read on Floridians’ whims.
And the latest polls out of Florida are simply not good for President Joe Biden, who has consistently suggested that he plans to run for reelection in 2024.
President Joe Biden has polled behind Hillary Clinton in a hypothetical Florida Democrat primary, along with trailing former President Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in a Florida general election matchup, a Tuesday Suffolk University/USA Today poll revealed.
The poll finds that if Hillary jumped into the 2024 presidential race, she leads Biden in the battleground state of Florida by three points (46-43 percent).
And also…
If Hillary decides not to run in 2024 and Biden becomes the Democrat nominee, both Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis polled greater than Biden in a head-to-head Florida matchup.

If DeSantis were to enter the presidential Republican primary race in Florida against Trump, the former president from Palm Beach holds a seven-point lead against the presiding governor.
Biden’s certainty about running for reelection in 2024 has irked a great many Democrats, especially given his historically poor approval ratings at this time.
