BIDEN GOES THERE: Says Trump Should be Indicted Over J6
While the select committee investigating the events of January 6th has long suggested that they were not going to be focusing solely on the actions of the former President in their probe, talk is cheap…especially in Washington DC.
As we’ve seen throughout the duration of the investigation, the committee appears to have a keen eye for Trump and his surrogates, including members of his own family. But now, reports are beginning to trickle in suggesting that even current President Joe Biden is of the opinion that his predecessor should be tried.
President Joe Biden privately said that former President Donald Trump should be prosecuted over the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol, The New York Times reported on Saturday.

The Times said that their report was based on interviews with more than a dozen people, “including officials in the Biden administration and people with knowledge of the president’s thinking.” All requested anonymity to speak freely, the paper said.
The DOJ itself may come under some renewed Executive Branch criticism as well.
Biden has reportedly grown frustrated with US Attorney General Merrick Garland, who is investigating the riot, according to people close to the president. The president has described Garland as a “ponderous judge” and said he wants to see him take more “decisive action” regarding the Capitol siege, according to The Times.
The news will almost certainly rile up Republicans, who’ve spent a great deal of time trying to explain to the nation that the J6 committee is little more than a political hit squad looking to meddle in the mood of the 2022 midterms.
