Joe Biden probably regrets running for president, this time around.

There’s a reason he waited for so long before officially declaring.

After getting slammed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over his initial climate change idea, Joe decided to roll out a new plan.

It’ll cost the taxpayer a decent chunk of change.

From Fox News:

Warning that “we must take drastic action now to address the climate disaster facing the nation and our world,” former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday unveiled a wide-ranging plan to combat climate change and transform America’s economy.

Using the Green New Deal as a framework, the clear front-runner right now in the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination announced he’s “calling for a Clean Energy Revolution to confront this crisis and do what America does best – solve big problems with big ideas.”

The price tag for the proposal — named ‘The Biden Plan for a Clean Energy Revolution & Environmental Justice’ — is $1.7 trillion over the next 10 years. Biden’s campaign said this would be supplemented by leveraging more than $5 trillion in additional private sector and state and local investments. This is considerably less expensive than the Green New Deal itself, for which cost estimates range as high as $93 trillion.

Someone named Naomi Klein decided to respond to Biden’s original policy:

No Joe, there is no “middle ground” on climate breakdown – there is bold, transformative action or there is sinking ground, burning ground and churning ground. “Presidential hopeful Biden looking for ‘middle ground’ climate policy”

Then, Ocasio-Cortez entered:

This is a dealbreaker.

There is no “middle ground” w/ climate denial & delay.

Blaming “blue collar” Americans as the main opponents to bold climate policy is gas lobbyist 101.

We’re not going to solve the climate crisis w/ this lack of leadership. Our kids’ lives are at stake.

Reactions:

Ocasio-Cortez recently said about the Department of Veterans Affairs, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

What’s weird is that everyone seems to agree, for years now, that the VA is wildly broken.

In a surprising twist, President Donald Trump actually agrees with AOC.

Well, he agrees with her in his own way.

LOOK:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is correct, the VA is not broken, it is doing great. But that is only because of the Trump Administration. We got Veterans Choice & Accountability passed. “President Trump deserves a lot of credit.” Dan Caldwell, Concerned Veterans of America

YouTube Censors Mentions Of ‘Whistleblower’ Involved In Trump-Ukraine Scandal

Published

Social media companies are starting to crack down on any mentions of the “whistleblower” whose complaint about President Trump’s phone conversation with Ukrainian leadership is responsible for the current impeachment inquiry, according to a brand new report. While the alleged name of the whistleblower has been making the rounds online in alternative media websites, social media giants like Facebook and YouTube are calling the publishing of the individual’s name a violation of their “coordinating harm policy.” Here’s more from Fox News: On Saturday, Twitter was the only major social network to resist the change, with users still free to publish the name of the alleged whistleblower. Tweets from big-name conservative Twitter users like Candace Owens and Donald Trump, Jr. revealing the name have gone viral in recent days. “Per our private information policy, any tweets that include personally identifiable information about any individual, including the alleged whistleblower, would be in violation of the Twitter Rules,” The Post reported.

New Complaint Alleges Trump Whistleblower Might Be Soliciting Donations

Published

on

A new complaint that’s been filed to the Intelligence Community Inspector General is alleging that the Trump-Ukraine whistleblower, the same individual whose complaint against Trump launched the impeachment inquiry into the president, might be in violation of federal law by indirectly soliciting more than a quarter-million dollars from anonymous sources via GoFundMe. Here’s the scoop via Fox News: The complaint, which was filed last week and obtained by Fox News, alleged the donations from roughly 6,000 individuals “clearly constitute” gifts to a current intelligence official that may be restricted because of the employee’s official position pursuant to 5 CFR 2635.203 and other statutes. To date, the GoFundMe has raised over $227,000. The complaint also raised the possibility that some of the donations may have come from prohibited sources, and asked the ICIG to look into whether any “foreign citizen or agent of a foreign government” contributed. Tully Rinckey PLLC, the law firm representing the individual reporting the allegations, is closely guarding the identity of their client, though Fox News is told the individual is the holder of a top-secret SCI security clearance and has served in government. “I have not seen anything on this scale,” Anthony Gallo, the managing partner of Tully Rinckey PLLC, told Fox News, referring to the fundraising. “It’s not about politics for my client — it’s whistleblower-on-whistleblower, and [my client’s] only interest is to see the government ethics rules are being complied with government-wide.” Back in September, Fox News released a report discussing how nonprofit Whistleblower Aid worked with the attorneys of the whistleblower in question at the Compass Rose Legal Group to start a GoFundMe. The whistleblower’s legal team have stated that the GoFundMe page is a means of helping to “support the Intelligence Community Whistleblower to raise funds,” with the page itself saying, “A…
