Seems like that could be a big problem…

A recently released book details how multiple members of the Biden family became rich thanks to Joe Biden’s position as vice president of the United States. In other words, Joe apparently leveraged his public position as one of the most powerful men in the world to his advantage, which in turn benefitted his relatives.

Yeah, that’s kind of a problem. Here’s what’s up, via Breitbart:

A firm employing James Biden, the younger brother of former Vice President Joe Biden, received more than $1.5 billion in government-backed contracts during the Obama administration.

The dovetailing of James Biden’s professional life with his brother’s political influence are extensively detailed in Peter Schweizer’s new book—Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite.

In 2010, shortly after a disastrous attempt at running a hedge fund with his nephew Hunter, James Biden entered the construction and international development industry. Even though he lacked background in either, James secured a position as executive vice president at the newly formed HillStone International, LLC. The firm, which was a subsidiary of the long struggling Hill International, was unique for a multitude of reasons.

What more do Democrats need to know about Biden?

Are there any gaffes, racial or just plain ignorant, that he has yet to make? Has he ever done anything to benefit the United States during his decades in public service?

Come on, people. When is enough enough? Get over the hatred of Trump so America can finally move forward.

WATCH:

Woah.

Watch Joe Biden attack Barack Obama’s foreign policy credentials.

Reactions:

And yet the man had no idea his son was using his connection to get big paying Burisma job. The more I see of Joe the less I like him.

Biden has always had a lot to say on foreign policy. And he’s always been wrong.

Gotta wonder how Obama will respond to this. Joe is a idiot.

He jumps right into intimidation every single time he’s challenged. Textbook verbal assault.

This is what Dems believe commands respect on the world stage? Respect is earned, not commanded. “Garner respect” would be the better term.

@JoeBiden’s facelifts make him look like th @MadameTussauds wax figure of a human being. or an avatar. and enough with th high-beam porcelains. how about th mansion he’s lived in on an estate since 1977 while claimG to be th poorest person in congress. #DonorClassJoe #LyinBiden

U.S. Gymnast McKayla Maroney Accuses the FBI of protecting a Pedophile in Dr. Nassar Sex Abuse Case

McKayla Maroney went on the attack as she testified about the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar.

Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast McKayla Maroney went on the attack Wednesday as she testified about the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. Maroney had harsh words for the fumbling, complicit FBI, accusing them of falsifying documents and protecting a pedophile with their failed investigation.

Appearing with fellow gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, and Maggie Nichols before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, Maroney took aim at the FBI’s inability to get to the truth and walking away allowing Dr. Nassar to continue sexually abusing hundreds of young athletes.
In her testimony (See full statement), McKayla Maroney said that she was shocked to discover that the FBI failed to fully investigate so many of the claims of sexual abuse. And she was aghast to learn that the FBI agents that did attend to her accusations made up “entirely false claims” about what she told them.

“After reading the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) report, I was shocked and deeply disappointed at this narrative they chose to fabricate. They chose to lie about what I said and protect a serial child molester rather than protect not only me, but countless others,” Maroney told the senators before her.

Maroney went on to say that she described the abuse she suffered in minute detail, but when she was done, she felt the FBI investigators acted as if her experience was not that bad, and she felt they dismissed her testimony with a gruff “is that all?”

“Those words in itself was one of the worst moments of this entire process for me. To have my abuse be minimized and disregarded by the people who were supposed to protect me, just to feel like my abuse was not enough”

Worse, Maroney said she found out that the FBI agents didn’t even bother to write down her statement for a year and a half, and when they finally get around to doing so, they just made it all up and did not report what she actually said.

“What is the point of reporting abuse if our own FBI agents are going to take it upon themselves to bury that report in a drawer,” she added. “They had legal, legitimate evidence of child abuse and did nothing.”

“Let’s be honest,” Maroney said accusingly, “by not taking immediate action from my report, they allowed a child molester to go free for more than a year, and this inaction directly allowed Nassar’s abuse to continue.

The FBI eventually fired Indianapolis field office supervisory special agent Michael Langeman who the agency finally determined had utterly mishandled the investigation into the sex abuse allegations. More recently, in July Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz that blasted Indianapolis agency chief W. Jay Abbott for his failure to respond to the allegations “with the urgency that the allegations required.”

More than 70 young gymnasts in ages ranging from 12 to 19 continued to suffer sexual abuse after the FBI’s failed investigation into the allegations.

Airline Kicks Family Off Flight After Toddler Removes Mask During Asthma Attack

Unbelievable.

Published

At times, it is easy to see why some of us are losing faith in humanity as a whole.

Somewhere in the mix, we’ve all turned cold and calculated.  Mathematically prepared for litigation at all times.  We’re robotic in our understanding of the rules and consequences, but all the while shunning common sense and the idea that decency often depends on extenuating circumstances.

Such was the case this week on an American Airlines flight.

A mother and her 2-year-old son were forced to deplane an American Airlines flight on Monday after the child would not keep a mask on.

Amanda Pendarvis posted to her Instagram story that she, her young son and her mother were removed from the flight. Pendarvis said her son was having an asthma attack at the time.

Flight 1284 returned to its gate at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport before departing for Colorado after the party refused to “comply with crew member instructions to remain seated while on an active taxiway and to wear face coverings securely over their nose and mouth,” American Airlines said in a statement to FOX Business.

The company attempted to shift the blame in a statement.

The airline said crew members were never made aware that the child was having an asthma attack or issues breathing. Additionally, the passengers were not addressed for failure to comply with face-covering requirements at any point while administering treatment, according to the carrier.

The move comes amid a heated national debate on COVID-19 precautions, and among a populace who is growing ever more irate with the idea of remaining masked indefinitely.
