Biden's DOJ Now Criminally Investigating Donald Trump

Linkedin Share

Joe Biden spent a great deal of time on the campaign trail in 2020 attempting to convince America that he was ready to let bygones be bygones.

In nearly every stump speech, the eventual President used the same corny, canned line about being a “President for all Americans, not just the ones who voted for” him.  He was going to be a “healer”.  A “uniter”.

Instead, Biden and the Democrats have spent a vast amount of resources and taxpayer dollars investigating Donald Trump and his administration, all the while using whatever dirt they allegedly find to suggest that the former President wouldn’t be fit to lead again, and insulting the MAGA Movement along the way.

Now, as yet another testament to Biden’s divisive vendetta, the Department of Justice is now opening a criminal probe into Donald Trump’s actions.

The Justice Department is investigating President Donald Trump’s actions as part of its criminal probe of efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, according to four people familiar with the matter.

Prosecutors who are questioning witnesses before a grand jury — including two top aides to Vice President Mike Pence — have asked in recent days about conversations with Trump, his lawyers, and others in his inner circle who sought to substitute Trump allies for certified electors from some states Joe Biden won, according to two people familiar with the matter. Both spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

The probe was undoubtedly zeroing in on the former President.

The prosecutors have asked hours of detailed questions about meetings Trump led in December 2020 and January 2021; his pressure campaign on Pence to overturn the election; and what instructions Trump gave his lawyers and advisers about fake electors and sending electors back to the states, the people said. Some of the questions focused directly on the extent of Trump’s involvement in the fake-elector effort led by his outside lawyers, including John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani, these people said.

This latest attempt to damage the reputation of Donald Trump isn’t likely going to sit well with Republicans in Congress, and with a massive “red wave” predicted for the 2022 midterm elections, the public resistance to these fishing expeditions won’t soon disappear.
