Bill Maher Just Offered Mitt Romney $1 Million. Here's What He Wants in Return.
You’ve probably heard that old saying that the “enemy of my enemy is my friend,” which seems to be an adage that HBO comedy host Bill Maher is taking quite literally these days when it comes to Mitt Romney and President Donald Trump.
Maher repeatedly trashed Romney back in 2012 when he was running against Barack Obama, calling him a “compulsive liar whose whole life is a secret,” but is now offering him a million dollars if he’ll oust Trump in the 2020 primary.
This man has always been cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but he really seems to have lost it now.
Speaking on his HBO comedy special, Maher said he would go as far as becoming Mormon if it meant Mitt Romney would square off against President Trump.
“I would gladly give Romney $1M tomorrow if he would take over America. Swear to god!” Maher said. “I will become a Mormon, how about that?”
“Although honestly, doesn’t everything about [Trump] scream microdick?” he continued. “The bragging, and the buildings with my name on it! And the debates. He was talking about his dick at the debates! That guy is president.”
Maher went on to employ the usual string of insults at Trump’s cabinet members: Attorney General Jeff Sessions is “a Confederate soldier,” Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is “mentally challenged,” and Vice President Mike Pence as a “loathsome Christian hypocrite.”
How hilarious is this? These folks are still so hurt and broken over their loss, so desperate to get rid of Trump, that they are willing to align themselves with folks they hated with a passion to get him out of office. There is no price these people wouldn’t pay to see this administration end in 2020 or before.
These folks are the sorest losers you will ever see, which is what makes their defeat all the more sweeter. Trump is doing a lot of good for America which is just pouring salt on the wounds for the left.
What liberals don’t seem to realize is they are reaping what they have sown during eight years of Obama when they mocked all of the folks on the right for disdaining many of the actions he took during his administration.
It’s delicious to see them get what they had coming to them.
