Blue Wave Busted as Left Makes Only Predicted Gains

The left fell short of their predicted “blue wave”, and the mainstream media was powerless in attempting to spin that reality.

The time has come and gone, and the left are once again left with a only a little to show for all of their incessant grandstanding.

Historically speaking, what happened last night was both extraordinary and rather ordinary.  On the cutting edge of the 2018 midterms we saw a whole lot of firsts:  The first openly gay governor ever was elected in Colorado, and the youngest woman ever elected to congress were both offered jobs by the American people last night in a stunning sign of the times.

A slew of other unique candidates were on the ballots as well, making for one of the more diverse elections that our nation has ever endured.

On the other hand, the way the cards fell politically was not that unusual at all.

In fact, when looking at historical trends for a President with an approval rating such as Trump’s currently stands, the gains made by democrats in the house was well-expected.  In fact, the possibility was so probable that Nancy Pelosi felt comfortable predicting it not once, but twice on the national stage.

So, while the democrats may be celebrating their victory in the House, little else went their way last night.

Now we prepare for a real battle in the Beltway.

Hillary Returns to Whine About ‘Sexist Trash’ After Trump Posts Tweet of Stuttering Pelosi [WATCH]

It just never ends…

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) continues to struggle speaking in front of crowds, despite decades in the public arena. President Trump re-tweeted a clip of her stuttering profusely while talking to reporters. Then, Hillary Clinton decided to join the party. The problem, as usual, is that she was wildly offbase. From Daily Wire: Speaking to the crowd at a Harris County Democratic Party in Houston, Texas, Clinton lashed out at the president for sharing what she called a “doctored” video of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) having difficulty speaking and slurring words during public appearances. Clinton called the video “sexist trash.” Here’s Trump’s tweet: https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1131728912835383300?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1131728912835383300&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Filovemyfreedom.org%2Funhinged-hillary-clinton-goes-nuts-after-trump-posts-video-of-pelosi-stuttering%2F Here’s Clinton’s tweet: My take on Trump and his cronies spreading that doctored video of Nancy Pelosi: It’s sexist trash. It’s also a sign that Trump is running scared. https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/1132309330697609222?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1132309330697609222&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Filovemyfreedom.org%2Funhinged-hillary-clinton-goes-nuts-after-trump-posts-video-of-pelosi-stuttering%2F Why else would anybody ask Hillary Clinton, of all people, to give advice to 2020 Democrat presidential candidates on how to defeat Donald Trump? Where’s the logic? TOO FUNNY! Just do the opposite….".— MoneyandtheHammer (@MoneyandHammer) April 13, 2019 https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js “Go to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan”She didn’t say that, so she didn’t give worthy advice. If it’s not one scandal for the twice-failed presidential candidate, it’s another. If it’s not email-related, it’s Benghazi. If it’s not Whitewater, it’s praising the prime minister of New Zealand for banning semi-automatic weapons. It just never ends.

AOC Tries to Use Meteorological Event to Push Climate Change, Gets Harshly Rebuked by Expert

You live by social media sword, you die by the social media sword.

Alexandria Ocasio Cortez

Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been one of the most avid social media users in Congress, but that distinction has backfired far more often than it hasn’t for her. AOC, as she has advertised herself, is undoubtedly one of the millennial-ist members of Congress to ever saunter about the Capitol.  Her constant social media PR and far-left ideologies appeal to a wide swath of the American youth, giving the political newbie a gravitational pull that her fellow democrats have not yet experienced. But this also means that every tidbit of AOC’s life will be subject to criticism, since every tidbit of her life is being broadcast. Her latest social media stunt saw the New York House Rep panicking over a tornado warning in Washington DC and attempting to draw a parallel to global warming. Meteorologists were quick to rebuke her. Here is the frantic video: https://youtu.be/zBG-BmMdP70 The Green New Deal advocate then shared a story published by PBS in March questioning if climate change makes tornadoes worse and put emphasis on a quote from the piece that read, “Rather than lie squarely in the Great Plains, America’s tornadoes appear to be sliding into the Midwest and Southeast.” “Tornadoes are challenging to link to climate change links due to their nature (geographically, limited, acute patterns, how they form, etc.),” Ocasio-Cortez told her followers as she reviewed the article. “But we DO know that tornadoes HAVE been changing. They are no longer being limited to the Great Plains, and are shifting to other regions of the country.” Then came the clincher. “The climate crisis is real y’all … guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country,” she later wrote on Instagram. That theory was quickly shot down, however. Meteorologist Ryan Maue, though, argued that she was confusing climate change with “weather” in…
