North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said Friday night that the FBI knew within 60 days of opening the Trump-Russia probe that the investigation was “built on a foundation of sand.”

“Within 60 days of them opening the investigation, prior to [Robert] Mueller coming on, the FBI and the [Department of Justice] knew that Christopher Steele was not credible, the dossier was not true, George Papadopoulos was innocent,” Meadows said on Fox News’s “Hannity.”

Meadows added, “When you look at that foundation, it’s all built on a foundation of sand. That’s going to start to show up soon.

Soon enough, the entire world will know the origins of “spying” on the 2016 Trump campaign.

Also, how the whole Russia conspiracy fiasco became a thing.

Trump tweeted out the following…

“Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities….

….during the 2016 Presidential election. The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information….

….Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions.” @PressSec

From Fox News:

Trump claims his campaign was the victim of “spying,” though the intelligence community has insisted it acted lawfully in following leads in the Russia investigation.

The president had told Fox News earlier in May that he would allow declassification “soon.” He elaborated, “I didn’t want to do it originally because I wanted to wait, because I know what they — you know I’ve seen the way they play. They play very dirty.”

Last month, Barr ran into a buzz saw of criticism from Democratic lawmakers and media figures for testifying that “spying did occur” against the Trump campaign in 2016. But despite the backlash, Barr appeared to be referring to intelligence collection that already has been widely reported and confirmed.

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani weighed in:

The President @realDonaldTrump made a wise decision to let AG Barr on the docunents. I don’t know for sure but I seriously doubt there’s any national security concern but some of it could affect pending investigations. I’m sure AG and DOJ will make a very appropriate decision.

Winning the New Civil War (OPINION)

An excellent opinion piece…

Published

on

The American Civil War of 1861-65 is considered the first “modern” war. Both sides used advances in communications and military technology that resulted in 600,000 deaths. Now, more than 150 years later, Americans are engaged in a new civil war. This time it is not a war of armies and weapons and regional animosity—it is a war of visions. Liberals and conservatives each have a different vision for the future of the nation. Conservatives believe in the Constitution and the rule of law. The vision of “progressive” liberals is an authoritarian socialist nation run by unaccountable bureaucrats—an approximation of Venezuela, somewhere between Stalin’s Soviet Union and Orwell’s 1984. The conflict over these value systems has escalated into the new civil war. We have many strong indications that this is a hot war: the depredations of Antifa, a contemporary incarnation of Nazi brown shirts; Maxine Waters urging liberals to confront Trump supporters; mobs threatening the homes of prominent conservatives; the attacks on Justice Brett Kavanaugh; and the attempted impeachment of President Trump by partisan Democrats in the House. The war began when Barack Obama was elected president. After promising just the opposite, the Obama presidency played into the leftist strategy of “divide and conquer.” The fraud known as identity politics was a child of the Obama years. Using their perverted version of “diversity,” the Democratic Party—under the leadership of Obama—exploited discontented elements in American society to foment division and hatred. Obama’s comments in case after case—lies and distortions—stoked the fires of racial discord. After eight years of Obama, relations between conservatives and liberals were worse than ever and the country was plunged into darkness. This new civil war is much more intimate than the old one. Instead of North pitted against South, we have friend against friend, neighbor against neighbor, brother…

Congress to Take Action Against ABC News for Covering Up Epstein Story [Developing]

Is the GOP growing a spine?

John Salvatore

Here’s something you probably didn’t expect to see today. It could potentially be great news for America, too! Apparently, Congressional Republicans have finally grown a spine and have decided to do something about corruption within the mainstream media. At the very least, it could be a solid start. There’s no reason ABC News should’ve covered-up a bombshell story they had on Jeffrey Epstein years ago. But they did it. Why? Because disgraced former President Bill Clinton was involved? Hmm… There’s also no reason for uninformed Americans to remain uninformed Americans. But if ABC and all other left-leaning outlets continue to hide the truth and bury the facts, then Democrats will continue to win elections. And who is that helping, exactly? From ABC News: Megyn Kelly reported on Sunday night that House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has contacted the president of ABC News and is demanding that the network answer questions about why it killed a bombshell story three years ago on convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein that involved former Democratic President Bill Clinton. The news comes after James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas exclusively reported last month on leaked video footage from inside ABC News that showed anchor Amy Robach admitting that the network had the scandal on Epstein three years ago but that the network spiked it. “Then the Palace found out that we had her whole allegations about #PrinceAndrew…threatened us in a million different ways. We were so afraid that we wouldn’t be able to interview Kate and Will…That also quashed the story.” – @arobach #EpsteinCoverup https://twitter.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1195741556390666242?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1195741556390666242&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Ffeminist-chrissy-teigen-calls-republican-rep-elise-stefanik-trash All signs pointed to Epstein being murdered in his jail cell. The writing was on the wall. Everyone could see it. Someone more powerful than he needed to make sure he kept his mouth shut and didn’t sing. It’s that simple. A…
