British Olympian Sharron Davies Once Again Criticizes Unfairness of Trans Athletes

This is one controversy that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Last week, British Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies raised eyebrows for insisting that it was unfair for transgender athletes to compete against natural-born women. Now, Davies has spoken out again despite the outrage her comments kicked up last week.

Davies caught criticism last week for saying that “fundamental differences” between men and women make transgender athletes too powerful to compete against natural-born women.

But on Tuesday, Davies was back to push her point after she discovered the story of Gabrielle Ludwig, a trans woman in her 50s who became a basketball player for San Joaquin Delta College, in Stockton, California, despite having both a weight advantage, and being over a foot taller than the natural-born women she was competing against.

The tale of the trans player was first reported back in 2012, but Davies thought Ludwig’s being allowed to compete against obviously weaker opponents was illustrative of her claim that it is unfair for trans athletes to compete against women.

Davies jumped to her Twitter account to note that Ludwig’s membership on the college basketball team was hardly an example of a “level and fair playing field.”

“I just don’t understand how anyone can say this is a level & fair playing field,” she tweeted. “1000% increase in trans women taking part in sport recently. It’s a serious topic that has to be honestly dealt with for safety as much as integrity #fairplay.”

The Tuesday tweet echoes a previous tweet where Davies advocated to “protect” women’s sports.

“I have nothing against anyone who wishes 2be transgender,” she tweeted last Friday. “However I believe there is a fundamental difference between the binary sex u r born with & the gender u may identify as. To protect women’s sport those with a male sex advantage should not be able 2compete in women’s sport.”

Davies’ opinion of trans athletes echoes that of tennis great Martina Navratilova who recently became the target of attack by transgender activists for saying it is “insane” and “cheating” for transgender athletes to compete against natural-born women.

“You can’t just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women,” Navratilova said last December. “There must be some standards and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard.”

BOMBSHELL: Judge Who Blocked Trump’s Border Wall Donated $30,000 to Obama & Dems

Hmm. Anything fishy here?

Oh, good. Another Obama judge blocking President Trump from doing things to benefit all Americans. Haywood Gilliam just found himself in a big mess, but it’s all his doing. From Washington Examiner: A federal judge who partially blocked President Trump’s plans to build a border wall along the United States-Mexico border previously donated almost $30,000 to former President Obama, other Democrats, and a political action committee. U.S. District Court Judge Haywood Gilliam, an Obama appointee confirmed in 2014, donated $6,900 to Barack Obama’s debut campaign for president and $14,500 to his reelection campaign, according to federal election records. The same records also indicate he contributed $4,500 to the Democratic National Committee in 2012 and, between 2012 and 2015, sent $3,100 to the Covington Burling LLP PAC, which supports candidates from both parties. His contributions totaled $29,000. But wait! There’s more… Gilliam made the donations, first reported by the Epoch Times, prior to serving as a U.S. District judge. He had said during his confirmation hearing that he “would base my decisions solely on the facts of each case and the applicable precedent, without regard to any political ideology or motivation,” and that “any personal views would not interfere in any way with my ability to neutrally apply the law.” Patrick Shanahan will most likely become the next Secretary of Defense after he was recently nominated to the post by President Trump. Shanahan is currently the acting SecDef, having filled the shoes of James “Mad Dog” Mattis. Shanahan made clear that hundreds of miles of wall have been contracted to be built on America’s southern border with Mexico. Democrat hearts are breaking across the country. So @ActingSecDef just told Congress that 256 new miles of Trump’s Wall is now funded to be built, at the rate of half a mile every…

WATCH: CNN Says Stuttering Pelosi Tweet Is A ‘Smear,’ But Nancy’s Attacks On POTUS Are Valid

Double standard, much??

When President Trump sends a tweet of Speaker Pelosi stuttering, it’s a “smear.” When Pelosi and Democrats say 45 is mentally unfit for office, it’s no big deal. That’s how things work in Liberalville. Up is down and nothing makes sense. For your entertainment, enjoy the musings of CNN’s Brian Stelter… WATCH: https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1132744472037511168?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1132744472037511168&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.weaselzippers.us%2F421760-cnns-brian-stelter-claims-showing-pelosi-problems-is-smear-but-her-attack-on-trumps-mental-health-shows-real-concerns-about-him%2F Due to the conservative policies of President Trump, unemployment in America just hit a 50-year low. Unemployment now stands at 3.6 percent, which is undoubtedly a milestone for the Trump administration – and the United States, as a whole. Women and black Americans, in particular, are thriving. And yet, far-left Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) doesn’t see it that way – continuing to play politics at every turn. Pelosi argues that the low unemployment rate is “promising,” but it doesn’t do enough. WE NEED MORE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION! Here’s her official statement (bold mine)… “The April jobs report numbers show some promising news, yet these gains hide the true weight of the economic uncertainty felt by millions of hard-working Americans. Unfortunately, the evidence shows that most of the economic gains continue to benefit those already well-off. We must do more to ensure that the economy is benefiting every family in every community, and that all Americans have the opportunity to move ahead in our economy. “Republicans’ shameful special interest agenda continues to undermine the health and financial security of middle class families across the country. This week, two years after House Republicans celebrated their vote to pass the outrageous Trumpcare bill, we still see the devastating impact of the GOP’s continuing health care sabotage. As the Administration continues its monstrous legal campaign to destroy pre-existing condition protections and every benefit provided by the Affordable Care Act, House Democrats are working on taking decisive action to lower health costs and…
