California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom will now officially face a recall election as petition gatherers have now reached the needed number of signatures to launch the recall election later this year.

According to Fox News:

The California Secretary of State said on Monday that the threshold of verified signatures reported by counties, which was set at 1,495,709, had been met.

“This now triggers the next phase of the recall process, a 30-business-day period in which voters may submit written requests to county Registrars of Voters to remove their names from the recall petition,” Secretary Weber said in a statement. “A recall election will be held unless a sufficient number of signatures are withdrawn.”

The recall vote will be a simple “yes” or “no” choice. Voters will be asked if they want Newsom to be ousted or to remain in office. If more than 50 percent of voters agree to remove him, Newsom will be history. Then, the candidate with the most votes will take office if Newsom is ousted.

So far, a growing list of Republicans want to replace Newsom. The candidates include Caitlyn Jenner, John Cox, Kevin Faulconer, and Doug Ose.

The far-left governor has scoffed at the recall petition effort, but now that the petitioners have reached the needed numbers. Still, it is had to say whether the governor’s opponents have enough actual votes to have him ousted from office.

One recent poll found that Newsom may have enough voter support to beat the recall effort.

To date, only one governor has been successfully recalled. Governor Gray Davis (D) was recalled in 2003 and was replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger (R).

Biden’s Rambling Train Story was Filled with False Statements

When Joe Biden spoke at an Amtrak event, he delivered a rambling story about his travels was filled with lies. And the media ignored it.

Last week, when Joe Biden an appearance at the 50-year anniversary of Amtrak, he delivered a rambling story about his travels on the rails that was filled with lies. And the media ignored it. Biden, of course, is famous as “Amtrak Joe” for using the rail line to travel from his home in Delaware to get to Washington D.C. over the many, many, many decades he has been a useless Democrat politician. So, it was a natural to have him show up to help the wasteful, expensive rail service celebrate 50 years of profligate spending of tax dollars. During the event, Biden launched into a rambling, confused, tale about his escapades on Amtrak that turned out to be filled with lies, mistruths, and fake claims. Now, if Trump had delivered such a mess of a speech filled with lies it would have been “fact checked” for weeks and would have led every single news cast for months. But here it is, nearly a week since the speech was delivered and few news outlets have bothered with it. In any case, many of the claims that Biden made were simply not true. And these weren’t just muffed facts. They were lies about his personal experiences. https://youtu.be/d_GGqKnRvp8 Per the Daily Mail: President Joe Biden’s strange anecdote about reaching 1.5 million miles on Amtrak has come under scrutiny after key inconsistencies emerged that make it impossible to have occurred as he told it. On Friday, delivering a speech in Philadelphia commemorating the 50th anniversary of Amtrak, Biden launched into the tale of a certain conductor congratulating him on reaching the milestone as he traveled to visit his sick mother. Biden said the incident occurred in his ‘fourth or fifth year as vice president’, or around 2014-2015, at which time the conductor he named…

California Bar’s Side Hustle: Fake COVID Vaccination Cards

Police were able to buy several of the phony cards last month.

As we begin to enter into whatever this new “normalcy” will be in the coming weeks, there are concerns among some that unvaccinated Americans could soon be treated like second-class citizens in their own country. This has already been a bit of an issue in certain industries, with airlines pushing hard to establish a coronavirus vaccine passport system, and several major league sports venues having declared that they will segregate the vaccinated and unvaccinated fans who attend their games. This has now spurred a strange side hustle for one California bar. The owner of a San Joaquin County bar was arrested this week for allegedly selling fake COVID-19 vaccination cards. Investigators say the operation ran for weeks out of the Old Corner Saloon in Clements, which has a population of 941. The local sheriff’s office got a tip that fake vaccine cards were being manufactured and sold out of the bar, complete with laminations. The investigation was fairly cut and dry. Investigators with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control then took over. “Undercover agents with our Special Operations Unit were able to purchase multiple cards in April,” said Luke Blehm, deputy division chief at the Alcoholic Beverage Control. “As a result, we also observed several sales of fraudulent COVID-19 vaccination cards to other patrons,” Blehm said. The owner of the bar was selling the cards for only $20.
