California to Require Vaccines for Certain Professions

And this could be just the beginning.

Published

At the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, there were concerns among some Americans that the authoritarians within our government would find a way to use the crisis to exert ever-more control over the citizenry of this great nation.  It would be another unwilling exchange of freedom for security, and tighten the government’s grip on the working class.

Of course, the media and some on the left denied all of this, using fear to motivate us to take coronavirus as seriously as they tell us to.

But now we’ve arrived at a bit of a crossroads, as the delta variant tests the government’s so-far benign approach to viral mandates.  In places where freedom is sometimes assuaged under the will of the elected, new precautions are being codified.

California will become the first state in the nation to require all teachers and staff in K-12 public and private schools to get vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID-19 testing, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Wednesday.

The statewide vaccine mandate comes as schools return from summer break amid growing concerns of the highly contagious delta variant.

The new policy will affect the state’s 320,000 public school teachers, more than 250,000 support staff — from cafeteria employees to cleaners — and at least 80,000 private school employees, according to the California Department of Education and labor unions. It will also apply to school volunteers.

The news epitomizes the left-right paradigm of this moment in American history, as states such as Florida and Texas do just the opposite, banning mask-mandates and proof of vaccination requirements by businesses under their jurisdiction.

FBI Informants Stormed Capitol on Jan. 6th, Muddying MSM Narrative

The infotainment industry is going to have a hard time spinning this one.

Published

For months on end, those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th claimed that there were interlopers among them, possibly even working to incite the violence and bring trouble to their ranks.

Of course, the mainstream media wasn’t having it.  They had the MAGA Movement right where they wanted them, and there was no scenario in which they were going to let this precious attack on the far-right go to waste.  No, they had decided that this was purely an incident of their own doing, and that they should be punished and ostracized ad nauseam on account of it.

But new reports seem to indicate that yes, indeed, there were some double agents among the throngs of Americans who stormed the building, and it’s putting the infotainment industry in a real bind.

As scores of Proud Boys made their way, chanting and shouting, toward the Capitol on Jan. 6, one member of the far-right group was busy texting a real-time account of the march.

The recipient was his F.B.I. handler.

In the middle of an unfolding melee that shook a pillar of American democracy — the peaceful transfer of power — the bureau had an informant in the crowd, providing an inside glimpse of the action, according to confidential records obtained by The New York Times. In the informant’s version of events, the Proud Boys, famous for their street fights, were largely following a pro-Trump mob consumed by a herd mentality rather than carrying out any type of preplanned attack.

And that’s not all:

After meeting his fellow Proud Boys at the Washington Monument that morning, the informant described his path to the Capitol grounds where he saw barriers knocked down and Trump supporters streaming into the building, the records show. At one point, his handler appeared not to grasp that the building had been breached, the records show, and asked the informant to keep him in the loop — especially if there was any violence.

The FBI has long been considered one of the shadier branches of federal law enforcement, often resorting to these sorts of tactics and infiltrations in order to achieve their mission.

Vaccine Mandate Cold Cause Healthcare Worker Shortage in Major City

This is WILD!

Published

With the number of Americans concerned about the potential side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine remaining steady, establishments that are now dealing in vaccine mandates are in for a rude awakening.

For months now, the vaccination rate has remained steady here in the United States, despite full FDA approval for some of the inoculations, and a steady stream of pressure from the Biden administration.  The issue is that, of all the folks who want to receive a vaccine, nearly all have.  Those remaining unvaccinated are doing so by choice.

And that’s why a coming vaccine mandate could wreak havoc on the New York City healthcare worker population.

New York state officials are bracing for staffing shortages when the state’s health care worker vaccination mandate takes effect on Monday, and could be looking to the National Guard — as well as medical professionals from other states and countries — to help address them.

Gov. Kathy Hochul released a plan on Saturday, outlining the steps she could take to increase the workforce in the event that large numbers of hospital and nursing home employees do not meet the state’s deadline.

“We are still in a battle against COVID to protect our loved ones, and we need to fight with every tool at our disposal,” she said.

That could mean declaring a state of emergency to allow health care professionals licensed outside of New York, as well as recent graduates and retirees, to practice there. Other options include deploying medically trained National Guard members, partnering with the federal government to send Disaster Medical Assistance Teams to local health and medical systems and “exploring ways to expedite visa requests for medical professionals.”

And, to make matters worse, those who find themselves terminated for their choice to remain unvaccinated will not be eligible for unemployment benefits, further infuriating those who believe that waive their cache to receive an inoculation are being discriminated against.
