Chameleon Clinton Imitates Southern People of Color with On-Again, Off-Again Accent

How Hillary can make such caricatures of southern People of Color with a straight face is beyond me, and how she sleeps at night afterward is simply unfathomable.

Politics is a game, undoubtedly, and to win, you need to be both sincere and inclusive.

That is certainly the reason that Donald Trump has risen to power the way that he has.  The businessman-turned-President chose to speak the truth to Americans, no matter how painful or worrisome that truth was.  His demeanor was bombastic, but only because that’s what it takes to cut through the knee-deep layers of muck being shoveled in his direction by the entirety of America’s tribalism-obsessed democrats and the mainstream media who’ve propped them up.

On the other side of the coin, however, are the sly-talking, image-obsessed career politicians who are far more akin to Hollywood actors than public servants.  These are the phonies, the liars, and the cheats, who’ve learned from day one to lie to the face of the American people in order to gain even the smallest of advantages.

There is no doubt that many Americans would place Hillary Clinton squarely in this category, or perhaps even on the throne of phonies.

Her latest patronizing stunt certainly won’t change those attitudes, either.

Hillary Clinton’s occasional southern accent made a well-timed return Sunday in Selma, Ala., where she spoke at an anniversary event of the 1965 “Bloody Sunday” march from Selma to Montgomery.

Clinton — who is known for lapsing into a southern drawl when speaking before southern audiences — occasionally affected a rhetorical tone resembling many of the preachers in attendance.

Speaking to one, she said, “Reverend Green, when those bones get up, and when that spirit is breathed into them, and they start climbing out of that valley, the first place they go is to register to vote!”

Various Democratic lawmakers — including announced 2020 Democratic candidates Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (S-Vt.) — appeared at the Brown Chapel AME Church event, before an annual march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

“Oh, this is the day the Lord has made!” she opened. “Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Oh!”

Her sudden gospel affectations have to be seen to be believed.

AOC Lauds Support For Israel Letter From Anti-Semitic Groups

Well, it was only a matter of time before Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez managed to weasel her way back into the headlines again with some ridiculously absurd statement or gaffe, and true to form, that’s exactly what she’s done. Only this one is taking her reputation as being, well, less than supportive of Jewish folk and Israel to a whole new level. Apparently, a congressional letter that has been organized by AOC and a delegation of other Democrats in Congress is getting endorsed all over the place by groups and organizations that have been calling for the destruction of the nation of Israel, promote boycotts of the Jewish nation, support terrorism, and put out a whole lot of anti-Semitic rhetoric. Ouch. Here’s more from The Free Beacon: The letter, sent Monday to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, threatens to withhold U.S. security assistance to Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu moves forward with a plan to annex parts of the disputed West Bank, an act that “would lay the groundwork for Israel becoming an apartheid state.” In addition to Ocasio-Cortez, the letter was backed by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.). In an internal email circulated to House Democrats and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, Ocasio-Cortez lists 10 organizations that support her letter to Pompeo. Most of these groups are prominent leaders of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement (BDS), which seeks to wage economic warfare on Israel. One such organization—Defense for Children International – Palestine—has been linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a U.S.- and European Union-designated terrorist organization. Ocasio-Cortez’s collaboration with groups that have traditionally been seen among Democrats as extremist and outside the bounds of collaboration suggests an escalating fight within the party over not just criticism of…

GOP Concerned About Virus Spikes In Key States For Trump Reelection

Published

on

Members of the GOP are starting to worry about the current resurgence of coronavirus cases in states that have been deemed to be critical to the reelection efforts of President Donald Trump in November. The reason for the concern stems from the fact that a lot of the success needed for Trump to have a second term will come from whether or not the U.S. is able to continue opening up the economy after the shutdowns earlier this year without making the current COVID-19 pandemic worse than it already is. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: The recent spike in COVID-19 cases has led to some Republican governors aligned with Trump reinstating some, though not all, of the restrictions that were in place during the lockdowns and federal GOP officials expressing more support for wearing facial coverings in public. Vice President Mike Pence has resumed a busier public schedule for the coronavirus task force, which held its first briefing in two months on Friday to help allay growing concerns. “Our focus today is very much on the advent of a rising series of new cases across the American South,” Pence said, addressing must-win states for the ticket this fall. Pence donned a mask in Texas on Sunday. Sen. Lamar Alexander, a Tennessee Republican, on Tuesday repeated his call for the president to start doing the same. “The president has plenty of admirers,” he said. “They would follow his lead. It would help end this political debate. The stakes are too high for this political debate … to continue.” On Sunday, Alexander told CNN, “I’m just saying, if wearing masks is important, and all the health experts tell us that it is in containing the disease in 2020, it would help if, from time to time, the president would wear one…
