Chris Cuomo Posts Cringe-Inducing Bicep Selfie During Social Media Spat

Big oof.

Chris Cuomo

Clowns.  The whole lot of ’em.

The mainstream media has diverted ever further from the journalists’ path in recent years, turning instead to sensationalism and exaggeration in order to keep viewers tuned in through the commercial breaks.  And, not only that, but several of the pundits that we have pounding our ears and eyes with hyperbole have ceased pretending that they themselves aren’t characters in some elaborate entertainment operation.

Take CNN’s Chris Cuomo, for example, who this week made a bizarre and embarrassing post on social media.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo was lampooned on Monday after responding to a critic by tweeting an image of his flexed bicep that was labeled everything from “cringe” to “creepy.”

The scandal-plagued Cuomo spent a large part of the morning responding to feedback when an unverified account with only 12 followers made a comment that the “Cuomo Prime Time” host would break his arm pleasuring himself. Cuomo responded with an image of his flexed bicep bulging out of a CNN T-shirt.

“That how this happened?! Hahahaha. Come on, baby, dont hate – facilitate. You can do better than this petty bs,” Cuomo wrote.

Those who witnessed the odd post found it off-putting.

“This is the weirdest response I’ve seen in awhile,” journalist Beth Baumann wrote, while political operative Arthur Schwartz simply wrote, “Clown.”

“One of the few good things Twitter has done for society is showing people who the ‘journalists’ delivering their news really are,” Bongino Report responded.

“It’s too early on a Monday for this, Chris,” the Daily Caller wrote.

“It’s from stroking your own ‘ego,’” NewsBusters analyst Nicholas Fondacaro added.

The post remains accessible on Monday afternoon.

Legendary Guitarist Set to Boycott Venues Requiring Vaccine Proof

With nearly half of Americans now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, the Biden administration has hit a wall.  The folks who are left unvaccinated are, by and large, abstaining by their own decision.  They don’t want a vaccine, and they don’t believe that the federal government has any right to tell them otherwise. But some private companies have begun suggesting that they may institute new regulations that would require customers or users to prove that they’ve been vaccinated in order to interact with them.  This could include some convert venues requiring that ticket holders can prove their vaccine status before seeing their favorite musical acts once they hit the road again. Legendary blues guitarist Eric Clapton isn’t into it.  At all. Eric Clapton has said he will not perform at any venues that require attendees to prove that they have received their full vaccination from the coronavirus. The musician and outspoken vaccine skeptic issued a statement that was highly critical of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement that vaccine passes would be required to enter nightclubs and other live performance venues in light of increasing coronavirus cases. The “Wonderful Tonight” singer issued a statement on the Telegram account of film producer and architect Robin Monotti, a known COVID-19 vaccination skeptic as well. In it, he issued a direct response to Johnson’s announcement and called the situation for those who do not wish to get the vaccine discriminatory. “Slow hand” got right to the point. “Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021 I feel honor-bound to make an announcement of my own,” Clapton said. “I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel…

Tuckers Crosses Blue Line, Attacks Capitol Police Officer Set to Testify at Capitol

The officer’s lawyers were quick to respond.

Tucker Carlson

It is well understood that passion is a large part of the punditry game.  Human beings want to know that the person delivering their news is invested in the story, (for some reason), and the primetime players are all very aware of this fact. But there are times in which the rabbit hole that they’re chasing stories down becomes too dark, too cavernous for even the most skilled orator, or the fastest on-their-feet thinkers that we have. Sometimes things go a little far in the mainstream media, and the nation at large leers in to rebuke the extremes. Tucker Carlson may very well be having one of these moments. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson sparked outcry Wednesday night when he called Black Capitol police officer Harry Dunn an “angry left-wing political activist.” “On Tuesday, [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi will call on police officer Harry Dunn. Dunn will pretend to speak for the country’s law enforcement community, but it turns out Dunn has very little in common with your average cop. Dunn is an angry, left-wing political activist,” said Carlson, referring to Dunn’s forthcoming testimony in front of the Congressional committee converged to investigate the deadly Jan. 6 riot. He pointed to social media posts Dunn, who is Black, has made about racism before. The backlash came swiftly. Dunn’s lawyers, David Laufman and Mark Zaid, released a statementWednesday night that read, “Tonight Fox News allowed its host Tucker Carlson, who has not served a day in uniform, whether military or law enforcement, to criticize the heroism and service of African-American U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn. Our client has served 13 years in law enforcement and on January 6, 2021, fought against an insurrectionist violent crowd — no doubt many of them Carlson’s supporters — to protect the lives of our elected officials, including…
