CIA Threatens The Kremlin if They Are Involved in ‘Havana Syndrome’ Attacks

Russia’s denials have been met with their usual bout of doubt.

For years now, a strange, almost futuristic weapon has been employed against US diplomats around the globe, and the Pentagon has had a heck of a time trying to determine who’s responsible.

The attacks, which appear to be caused by some sort of direct energy weapon, began in Cuba at the US embassy.  Americans there were soon sick with a range of symptoms, from vertigo to confusion to physical pains, gifting the issue the moniker “Havana Syndrome”.

Of course, whenever Americans are targeted in such a clandestine way, there are but a few possible perpetrators, and the CIA is putting one in particular on notice.

The director of the CIA has warned Russian intelligence agencies that there will be “consequences” if they are behind the recent “Havana Syndrome” attacks that have plagued U.S. officials in embassies across the world.

William Burns issued the confidential warning to Russia’s Federal Security Service and the country’s Foreign Intelligence Service during a November meeting in Moscow about Russian troops organizing near Ukraine, according to U.S. officials speaking to The Washington Post.

Burns reportedly said these consequences would only occur “if” Russia was behind the attacks, signaling that the U.S. is still unsure who the perpetrator is behind the mysterious health complications occurring among diplomats and staff members. Moscow has denied involvement in the attacks.

The attacks are said to incur lasting brain trauma against the victims, making the matter all the more serious.

Russia’s denial hasn’t been well-received on the world’s stage, however, which isn’t all that unusual for the conniving Kremlin.

Working for VP Harris is ‘Scarlet Letter’ in White House, Aides Flee in Droves

WHOA!

The situation at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is a strange one at this moment, and news from the East Wing has many wondering just how much worse things are going to get before they begin to mend.

While there is certainly a great deal of trouble within the Biden administration, perhaps no corner of the executive branch is quite as worrisome as the office of the Vice President, with Kamala Harris dropping staffers by the handful, and new reports of castigation befalling those who’ve worked for her.

A new report revealed that departing staffers for Vice President Harris are leaving their White House posts in part due to concerns of being forever labeled a “Harris person.”

A growing list of Harris staffers are heading out the door amid internal chaos and disastrous poll numbers.

The concern of being labeled a “Harris person,” as well as burnout and desire for greener pastures, are driving the exodus from the vice president’s office, sources familiar with the chaos in the VP’s office told Axios.

One anonymous Democratic strategist said that Harris needs “someone loyal, who can think methodically to best position the vice president and to make sure everything she’s doing is being maximized and communicated to a broad population and get her numbers up.”

And also:

A different Democratic operative close to the veep’s office told Axiosthat the staff departures are lighting a fire under chief of staff Tina Flournoy to keep the sinking ship afloat.

“If we mess this up, it’s going to set women back when it comes to running for higher office for years to come,” the operative said.

The label of being a “Harris person” apparently carries a weighted stigma with it in Washington — something that does not bode well for the fledgling veep as her first year in office begins to wrap up.

The news will undoubtedly reignite the Democrats’ fears about their chances to win the White House again in 2024.

President Biden Claims Persistent Cough is Not COVID-Related

But Fox’s Peter Doocy had to ask anyway.

Published

When the nation elected Joe Biden, there were concerns…not only about the possibility that he’d be able achieve much of anything, but also about his age and health.

Biden has never been all that slick with his words, and this is not a dig at his battle with a speech impediment:  He just says a whole lot of awfully goofy and incorrect things. It’s a lot of what he’s known for, and it’s made the job of the writers at Saturday Night Live much easier.

Cognitive function aside, Biden’s sheer age has been a concern as well, especially during a pandemic.

One Fox News reporter appeared to show concern for the President’s persistence cough this week, but Biden has insisted that it’s nothing to worry about.

Fox News’s Peter Doocy noticed President Joe Biden’s voice was a little different Friday and as such, queried about his health, asking “are you okay?”

The inquiry came at the end of remarks given in the White House following jobs report that MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinksi described to Jen Psaki as “off.” Fox News’ chyron, however, blared “DISAPPOINTING,’  an assessment which was not unfair.

“First of all, Mr. President, your voice sounds different. Are you okay?” Doocy asked

His answer?

“I’m okay. I have a test every day to — covid test,” Biden explained. “What I have is a 1 1/2-year-old grandson who had a cold who likes to kiss his pop and he has been kissing me anyway. But it is just a cold.” Doocy followed with a question about Covid-19 and the administration’s efforts to continue to mitigate the spread of the potentially deadly pathogen.

President Biden announced new stricter rules for international travelers coming into the US on Thursday, on account of the latest news surrounding the omicron variant.
