CNN Guest Argues On Live TV That Barack Obama Is A ‘Conservative’ [Watch]

This isn’t a winnable argument…

It’s pretty wild how easily Democrats forget history. From 2008-2016, there was no greater human being that ever existed than Barack Obama. Now, the 44th president is almost an afterthought.

And what is the problem Dems have with Barry Soetaro, exactly? It’s that he has told 2020 presidential candidates to stop going so far left. Even Obama knows you can’t win an election in America by running as a socialist.

Because of this, some lefties are labeling Barack a “conservative.”

“President Obama is a conservative,” @Swerdlick tells @smerconish.

Obama “believed in using government to change people’s lives…in a way that preserved the way his predecessors had done things and also that had preserved a traditional American sense of the American Dream.”

Reactions:

One problem we face in our current moment is that our pundit class appears to have an implicit theory of language and political discourse that goes roughly “lol words.”

Swalwell’s fart was smarter than this.

Modern liberalism seems to be all about topping themselves in a competition of the nonsensical

There’s only one possible result in that sort of sport — the participants lose their damn minds

It just goes to show that there is no low the left won’t stoop to tear down Republicans, conservatism, capitalism, and everything else that makes America great.

Perspective: Democratic presidential candidates still can’t figure out how to talk about the most popular figure in their party, @Swerdlick writes, and there’s a simple reason.

Barack Obama is a conservative.

Reactions:

This article, written by an austere religious scholar, was brought to you by the letters B and S.

Perspective: Whoever wrote this argument, whether it be @Swerdlick or his editors, *really* doesn’t know (or care about) anything about conservative political philosophy, nor do they care about the basic importance of semantics.

That’s some gaslighting at the highest level right there!!

Soon enough, he will become an Alt-Right figure in the minds of leftists.

They’ve been trying to move the goalposts of the political spectrum for decades. They are beginning to succeed. Soon, even a hint of capitalism will be vilified.

Ted Cruz Blocks Resolution Honoring RBG After Democrats Try Slipping Through ‘Dying Wish’

Published

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer thinks he’s a slick old billy goat, but he’s no match for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who blocked Schumer’s resolution to honor the recently deceased Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg after he tried to slip in some language that would emphasize honoring her “dying wish” not to be replaced until after the inauguration. Hey, you know, we all make dying wishes. Most of us don’t get to see them come true. That’s just a part of life. Here’s more on this from the Daily Wire: “Republicans came to us with this resolution, but it ignored Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish — what she called her ‘most fervent wish’ — that she not be replaced until a new president is installed. So we simply have added it to the exact same text of the resolution that the Republicans gave us,” Schumer said on the Senate floor. “All the kind words and lamentations about Justice Ginsburg from the Republican majority will be totally empty if those Republicans ignore her dying wish and instead move to replace Justice Ginsburg with someone who will tear down everything she built,” Schumer continued. He singled out abortion, gay marriage, union rights, and healthcare as the main issues he fears will crumble under a Trump-appointed justice. Cruz, in response, said, “Unfortunately, the Democratic leader has put forth an amendment to turn that bipartisan resolution into a partisan resolution.” “Specifically, the Democratic leader wants to add a statement that Justice Ginsburg’s position should not be filled until a new president is installed, purportedly based on a comment Justice Ginsburg made to family members shortly before she passed,” the Texas senator added. Ginsburg reportedly dictated to her granddaughter that her “most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”…

Top Debate Coach Reveals What Could Potentially Derail Biden During First Presidential Debate

Published

on

If you’re dying for some entertaining television, you’re going to finally get what you are craving next week when President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden go head-to-head during a televised debate, the first of the season. This, ladies and gentlemen, is going to be one for the ages that you won’t want to miss. Ahead of the debate, Brett O’Donnell, a top debate coach, has revealed a few things that might end up derailing Biden during this first debate. via Fox News: “[Biden] has not done any tough interviews in this campaign so far, whether or not he can handle the toughest of interviews, a presidential debate, being attacked by the president and also tough questions from Chris Wallace in that first debate remains to be seen,” O’Donnell told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday. “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace was selected to moderate the first presidential debate scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Case Western University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. The format for the first showdown calls for six 15-minute-long segments – with each segment dedicated to a particular topic. Trump was interviewed by Wallace in July and Kilmeade pointed out that the president “basically went through” the list of debate topics “with the guy that’s going to be hitting him with the questions.” “I think that’s a tremendous advantage,” the debate coach said. “First of all, Chris Wallace is a tough interviewer, he is tough on everyone.” “The president has been through that now and so he can anticipate how Chris Wallace might approach this debate,” O’Donnell continued. No matter how you cut it, the president is far more prepared and mentally lucid for this debate than Joe Biden could ever hope to be in his current state. There are so many…
