CNN Marks Father's Day By Celebrating a Father Who's Really a Mother...Because Of Course

So Father’s Day is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than to insist that fathers can be mothers too.

This is the far reaches to which gender theory has stretched, but the crazy thing about this is, that in the left’s undying effort to virtue signal and worship at the feet of political correctness, they are normalizing and affirming not only incredibly radical, far-left philosophy, but they’re establishing an Orwellian standard for the deceptive language they use to legitimize this philosophy.

It truly is a brave new world, to mix my 20th Century dystopian novel references.

The piece on CNN’s website is called “He gave birth. He breastfed. Now, he wants his son to see him as a man,” and yes, the whole thing is about as insufferable as the title would suggest.

It is about a…let’s just go with “woman” for the sake of the reader being able to follow what on earth I’m about to explain to you, named Sabastion Sparks, 24, “a transgender man who lives with his wife Angel in suburban Atlanta.”

Angel, you see, is a man, and their 20-month-old son was conceived naturally by the couple as they took a break from their respective hormone treatments to have a child. Once the son was born, they continued to “transition” and are now raising the son together.

Only mommy is daddy and daddy is mommy.

Not according to CNN, of course. No, you see, according to CNN, Sparks is a man who gave birth to a child and is now a father.

“Like many new dads, Sabastion Sparks knew parenting would come with serious challenges. But most new dads didn’t give birth to their child. They didn’t breastfeed them,” they write.

This is, and you’ll forgive me for stating the painfully obvious, factually incorrect. Literally no dads have ever given birth and breastfed their child. Because that’s what women do. And it’s sort of the whole being-able-to-carry-and-nurse-a-child thing that makes a woman a woman.

Also, with the kindest, most compassionate thoughts extended to Sparks for the struggles she has no doubt experienced and continues to experience in her life…she is not a dad.

She’s a mother.

But to the folks over at CNN and the gender theory apologists who influence them, their power lies in the way they use language. By calling Sparks a “dad” and also noting that her “wife,” Angel, was “was designated male at birth” they’re using a well-established style of Newspeak to positively insist that these things are true when they are not.

If someone wants to live their life appearing as, with the aid of hormone treatment and surgery, the opposite sex, that’s one thing, but we cross over into dangerous territory by using blatant falsehoods just to validate their lifestyle, which is why this trend is so very troubling.

This is to say nothing of the little boy who will be raised by adults who, we are guessing, are also using this deliberately false information. Not to mention have turned the conventional family and the most fundamental aspects of what makes us human on its head.

But hey. At least these two parents are married and raising their kid together, right?
