Despite taking the time to fly to the Middle East to spend Christmas with the troops, President Trump and First Lady Melania were mocked by CNN and the like.
Go figure, right?
Melania, OUR first lady, wore the wrong boots.
Donald, well, was Donald. That’s always enough to set the MSM off in and of itself.
The worst part is that CNN blasted 45 for signing MAGA hats for the troops despite there being no rule against it (more on that below).
— CNN Politics (@CNNPolitics) December 27, 2018
What’s worse is that Obama signed Obama-type stuff for the troops back in the day, and the mainstream media was dead silent.
There’s a word for that.
It’s called hypocrisy.
From Daily Wire:
As noted by Joe Concha at The Hill, “The worst kind of bias is the bias of omission. And what’s missing from this report is precedent as it pertains to President Obama who, as a candidate, signed memorabilia for U.S. service members overseas in July 2008. Not a hint of criticism followed.”
SFGate reported on the Obama trip to Afghanistan at the time, though they never highlighted the signing of memorabilia by Mr. Obama.
Did “journalists” breathlessly hunt down the names of these service members who had Barack and Michelle and Obama sign campaign memorabilia in 2008? pic.twitter.com/72qbxNsddC

Michelle did it, too:
CNN owes Trump a big apology.
STUTTGART, Germany — U.S. Air Forces Europe said troops holding “Make America Great Again” hats during President Donald Trump’s visit Thursday to Ramstein Air Base were not in violation of military rules that prohibit taking part in partisan activities while in uniform.
“There is no rule against Airmen bringing personal items to be signed by the president,” USAFE said in a statement.
More than 200 airmen greeted Trump on Thursday at a Ramstein Air Base aircraft hangar, where the president and first lady Melania Trump were greeted with cheers.
Trump went after CNN and the “fake news universe”…
Imagine if 45 turned the troops away. What nonsense would CNN have conjured up then?
These people are risking their lives for this country and your right to write dumb crap like this. There is nothing wrong with them being excited about a Presidential visit. Trying to get them in trouble for it is pathetic.

Leave the soldiers alone! Can’t you find anything to bash Trump that does not involve potentially hurting our soldiers? https://t.co/N5thNOoz1c
— Reagan Battalion (@ReaganBattalion) December 27, 2018
imagine CNN sitting around in a conference table thinking of how they can bash Trump next and then thinking this would be a good idea https://t.co/fYAZBxztXE

So CNN is now labeling Trump as "the Grinch" who stole Christmas from the troops in Iraq.
This of course comes after they spent an entire day railing on Trump for not visiting troops during Christmastime (even though it turned out he had a scheduled trip to Iraq) pic.twitter.com/xWXnWSUyRC

It’s always about President Trump to the left, no matter the occasion.
Whether or not a former president’s body lays in the Capitol Rotunda means nothing.
Trump, Trump, Trump – 24/7!
From Daily Wire:
CNN repeatedly attacked President Donald Trump on Monday for putting politics aside and paying respects to former President George H.W. Bush in a segment that exemplified the network’s willingness to criticize the president for ratings and not for his actions.
CNN’s Jamie Gangel: “He’s not one to mend fences too readily. I think he’s doing this because he feels he has to do it and I’m also assuming General Kelly has had a big hand in it.“
“I do know from the Bush family that they are very appreciative and think the White House has just bent over backwards, gone to great lengths, been extraordinarily helpful. That said, I just can’t help but wonder if there was a thought bubble over Donald Trump’s head just know, what he was thinking as he stood there.“
CNN’s Jeffrey Engel: “I have to imagine he was thinking, ‘how much longer do I have to stand here?’
Gangel: “It’s, it’s, he had to be there, he did it, um, I think it’s interesting he did it because maybe he could have waited till the National Cathedral and then he saluted. It was somewhat theatrical, uh, in nature, but it’s, I, I can’t imagine that this is very comfortable for him, these moments and I think it is going to be fascinating to watch the cathedral on Wednesday and how he interacts with these other presidents and how he sits there during these eulogies.“
Engel: “I think we need to be a little bit thoughtful and careful about how we interpret what President Trump is doing here. David Gergen just mentioned we need to give him credit for not tweeting out nasty things about President Bush. I’m concerned that we shouldn’t give credit to someone for not kicking dirt on the grave of a person who just passed away.“

Tweets Trump sent about Bush after his death:
The Associated Press “honored” former President George H.W. Bush in death the best way they knew how – by taking a liberal stance and bashing his legacy.
The disrespect is outrageous.
The worst part is how they handled Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s death.
See the difference:
A President died. How about you show the family some respect and not belittle the deceased? This is just part of what is wrong with America, zero empathy for others. Rest easy with Barbara Mr. President. https://t.co/gzKSj0xcbt

Shame on you AP. You were once more reputable than this. The
Patrician verbage tells me you are trying to invoke some type of class ware fare. Yeah keep telling folks a real class system exists here. You know class is very fluid here and depends on ones work ethic. https://t.co/DgCCpgfLig

What is wrong with you at the AP? Bush 41 was the youngest carrier pilot in WW2. He was shot down over the Pacific. He held every major office one can hold. A thoroughly decent man, adoring husband, and loving father. What pathetic people you are
— Gray Connolly (@GrayConnolly) December 1, 2018
AP deleted their heinous tweet – two days later:
We’ve deleted a tweet and revised a story on the death of President George H.W. Bush because the tweet and the opening of the story referenced his 1992 electoral defeat and omitted his WWII service.
— The Associated Press (@AP) December 2, 2018
Took you guys 2 full days to come up with a revision. Eat shit. https://t.co/316qqFp2xL

They wait minutes after a person has died to start smearing them but take their time to finally delete and give a half assed apology https://t.co/U3Yn1QPA1v
