What could he possibly have to say that hasn’t been said 1,000 times?

CNN’s Jim Acosta has been berated by President Trump for refusing to stop talking at pressers.

He even had his press pass revoked by the White House at one point.

Needless to say, Acosta and Trump go together like peanut butter and tuna fish.

CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta was mocked on Thursday after revealing that he was writing a book about President Donald Trump, which is scheduled to be released in June.

Twitter took notice and they let Acosta have it…

Kellyanne Conway is the first female campaign manager to be victorious in a presidential election.

If she were a liberal, Conway would be deemed a hero by the left.

During a presser with the media, Kellyanne ripped into Acosta for being a “smart a**.”

The Democrat Party activist Acosta wanted to know if President Trump was going to “tell the truth” in his Tuesday night address to the nation.

From Fox News:

Acosta asked Conway if she could promise that President Trump would tell the truth when addressing the nation on Tuesday night.

[…]

Acosta – who has emerged as a household name for interruptions when Trump and members of his administration are made available to the press – responded by telling Conway that he doesn’t have an “alternative facts” problem like she does.

Conway: “Make sure that goes viral. This is why I’m one of the only people around here who gives you the time of day. You’re such a smarta– most of the time and I know you want this to go viral.

WATCH:

It’s hard to forget Acosta’s White House outburst.

It is certainly something for which he’ll always be remembered – and that may have been the point.

A Trump-appointed judge ruled the White House had to give back Acosta’s hard pass after it was taken from him.

Conservative Mark Levin wasn’t thrilled:

If Acosta acts out again, here’s what Trump says he’ll do…

From Daily Wire:

President Donald Trump revealed in an exclusive interview with “FOX News Sunday,” which is set to air on Sunday, that the next time CNN’s Jim Acosta misbehaves during a news conference that he will be thrown out or the news conference will immediately end.

Wallace: “A federal judge who you appointed has just ruled that you must give CNN reporter Jim Acosta his press pass back. Your reaction to the ruling, sir.

Trump: “Yeah, it’s fine I mean it’s not a big deal. What they said though is that we have to create rules and regulations for conduct etc. etc.

Trump: “We’re doing that, were going to write them up right now. It’s not a big deal and if he misbehaves we’ll throw him out or we’ll stop the news conference.

Wallace: “What are your rules going to be? What is it that you’re saying?

Trump: “We’re writing them now. We’ll have rules of decorum you know you can’t keep asking questions. We had a lot of reporters in that room, many many reporters in that room and they were unable to ask questions because this guy gets up and starts you know doing what he’s supposed to be doing for him and for CNN and you know just shouting out questions and making statements too.

Trump concluded: “But I will say this look, nobody believes in the First Amendment more than I do and if I think somebody is acting out of sorts I will leave I will say thank you very much, everybody, I appreciate you coming and I’ll leave. And those reporters will not be too friendly to whoever it is that’s acting up.

WATCH:

…From earlier…

Acosta’s actions were “unacceptable” and he has been banned after the incident with Trump on Wednesday where he refused to sit down after posing a question.

President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern…

This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.

Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters…

As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.

Acosta’s response:

I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH. Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit

CNN says Sanders is lying:

Here’s the interaction between Trump and Acosta:

Acosta, a partisan journalist if there ever was one, decided to mock Trump with this tweet:

Of course Acosta is right, but Twitter had to remind Jim of a few things…

Republicans Chastise President Without Mentioning His Name, After He Won’t Commit To Peaceful Transfer Of Power

Published

on

A handful of individuals in the GOP were not too happy with President Trump for refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power should Joe Biden win the November election. Leading the pack were Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Steve Stivers of Ohio. All three of these individuals took to social media to rebuke Trump, though none of them actually mentioned him by name, probably in an attempt to continue putting on an air of solidarity. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “Fundamental to democracy is the peaceful transition of power; without that, there is Belarus. Any suggestion that a president might not respect this Constitutional guarantee is both unthinkable and unacceptable,” said Romney, who has long been at odds with the president. https://twitter.com/MittRomney/status/1308932877229477890 “The peaceful transfer of power is enshrined in our Constitution and fundamental to the survival of our Republic. America’s leaders swear an oath to the Constitution. We will uphold that oath,” said Cheney, the third-ranking Republican in the House. At the White House, the president was asked by a reporter if he would “commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the November election” during Wednesday’s press briefing. The president didn’t answer affirmatively. “We’re going to have to see what happens. You know that I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster,” the president said. “Get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There will be a continuation.” Immediately, leftists all over Twitter have pounced on his comments to try and twist them to make the president look as if he’s wanting to go full dictator here, and get rid of voting altogether so he can stay in power. Anyone with fully…

Suspect In Shooting Of Louisville Police Officers Arrested In Wake Of Violent Protests

Published

on

It was announced yesterday that there would be no formal charges brought against the Louisville police officers involved in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor, and as you can probably guess, Black Lives Matter protesters immediately took to the streets and stuff got pretty violent real quick. In fact, two police officers were shot, though thankfully the injuries they sustained were not life threatening. A man has been arrested in connection with the shootings. Here’s more from Fox News: A suspect accused in shooting two Louisville police officers during protests Wednesday evening has also been identified. Larynzo Johnson, 26, has been charged with wanton endangerment and assault of a police officer. He will be arraigned Friday. Johnson “intentionally used a handgun to fire multiple bullets at officers” addressing the crowd, the complaint said. Two officers were struck by bullets causing serious physical injury. Police said witnesses spotted Johnson firing a handgun at officers and running from the scene. The complaint said he was also in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest and law enforcement recovered video of the shooting showing the suspect fire at officers. Police stated that some businesses were looted early Thursday morning, because hey, nothing says “fighting inequality” like robbing stores owned by people who have absolutely nothing to do with your alleged grievances. It’s never okay to riot, loot, or burn other people’s property to the ground. That doesn’t make you a “freedom fighter” it makes you a criminal, a terrorist. This is what Black Lives Matter doesn’t seem to understand. Or they do understand, but simply don’t care. Let’s hope no further incidents of violence occur and police are actually allowed to do their jobs and quell the madness before someone gets killed.
