CNN’s Don Lemon Becomes Hate Hoax Apologist Overnight

While the accusations are far, far different, this “court of public opinion” is in fact the same figurative judicial institution that condemns Brett Kavanaugh still to this day.

Don Lemon

We live in strange times, my friends, as the liberal left continues to turn toward socialism and antisemitism in some strange repeat of not a century ago.

Hate is in the air, both literally and in the sense of aura surrounding the act.  Television “news” networks, sensing an opportunity to race bait you into watching a commercial break, have been working overtime in recent days, attempting to downplay their once exuberant belief in the story of Jussie Smollett.

Smollett, an actor, has now been implicated in at least one hate crime hoax, in which police say the television star paid two on-set extras to racially harass him for his own publicity.

Smollett has been arrested on charges of filing a false report, yet CNN’s Don Lemon seems to still find the actor a victim…somehow.

During his opening monologue, Lemon told his viewers that the story was “personal” since he and Smollett had been acquaintances and were in constant communication since the alleged incident and that Smollett told Lemon what he said had happened to him, which he admitted raised lots of questions.

He stressed that while Smollett is “innocent until proven guilty,” he still “squandered the good will of a whole lot of people” if his story wasn’t true.

“He even lied to a lot of people… including me. And that’s not cool,” Lemon said to his viewers. “He squandered the good will of very high-profile people who one day may be running this country like Kamala Harris and Cory Booker and people like President Trump.”

But then came a perspective that perhaps crossed the line for many viewers.

Lemon insisted that Smollett has already “lost the fight in the court of public opinion,” but he hesitated to blame him for that defeat.

While the accusations are far, far different, this “court of public opinion” is in fact the same figurative judicial institution that condemns Brett Kavanaugh still to this day.

Worse still, this puts Don Lemon squarely in the corner of a near-serial hate crime hoaxer.

According to TMZ, President Trump is Now Homophobic

Maybe TMZ should stick to covering which sports star is bedding which Kardashian this week, and leave the politics to the professionals.

TMZ

If you’re looking for a lesson in character assassination, the mainstream media is a willing and powerful mentor. This “infotainment” industry has been clawing at the door, so to speak, when it comes to Donald Trump’s personal beliefs.  They’ve imbued every syllable ever spoken by the President on the subject of immigration with some form of racist connotation, in an attempt to flood the media landscape with doubt and anger. It’s fear mongering, no doubt, but in a world dominated by social media’s “resistance” schtick, this is the sort of anger-fuel that sells. TMZ is no stranger to this, making their bread and butter by proposing scandalous and salacious rumors about The Kardashians for years.  Now, as they move into politics, (something no one asked for), they are bringing the same tabloid terror to the proceedings. For instance, they’ve already assumed that President Trump will let his alleged inner homophobic thoughts loose should he go head to head with 2020 democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg. Monday on “TMZ Live” founder Harvey Levin asked South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful, what he will do when President Donald Trump “absolutely, no doubt” makes homophobia part of his campaign against Buttigieg if he secures the Democratic nomination. Levin said, “If you end up going head to head with Donald Trump, you are an openly gay man and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind given Donald Trump’s history that the campaign will get homophobic in some way. How are you going to deal with that? Buttigieg answered, “I’m kinda used to that by now. I’m from Indiana. I’m gay as a—I don’t know, think of something really gay, and that is how gay I am. So I’m used to bullying.” There has been no evidence presented of this hateful personality trait…

Hollywood Icon Contends that Mueller Could Still “Put Trump Away”

Robert De Niro is in Denial.

While the nation awaits a clearer picture of what’s actually inside of Robert Mueller’s infamous report on the “RussiaGate” scandal, prominent democrats are keeping their dreams of nullifying the 2016 election alive. Mueller’s report was already summarized once by Attorney General Bill Barr in a four page letter to Congress.  Barr, quoting Mueller himself, indicated that the report did not find sufficient evidence of “conspiracy or coordination” between the Trump campaign and the Russian government – something that President Trump and his team have taken as a victory in the case. The democrats have insisted that they need to see the full report in order to validate Barr’s assessment, with many believing that the President himself is not out of harm’s way just yet. Now, their pals in Hollywood are promoting a similar idea. Actor Robert De Niro revealed in a recent interview that he still thinks that former special counsel Robert Mueller can send President Donald Trump to prison for a “long time.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert De Niro thinks it’s his “civic duty” to play Mueller on Saturday Night Live, and still fantasizes about him locking Trump up. “I consider it my civic duty to do that part — just to be there because [Mueller] doesn’t say much, but he doesn’t have to. It’s that simple,” said the star, who added that he still has hopes of the president serving jailtime for suspected collusion with Russia in the 2016 election. “I might even be happier the day that Mueller puts him in handcuffs, takes him in an orange jumpsuit and puts him away for a long time.” De Niro has been an outspoken and colorful critic of President Trump, having used profanity and threats of violence toward the Commander in Chief over the course of the…
