CNN's Jim Acosta Posts Pre 'Late Show' Picture on Twitter, Immediately Wishes He Hadn't
Everyone’s favorite obnoxious CNN reporter, Jim Acosta, recently made an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” and thought he’d do the “hip, cool” thing that all the kids are doing and post a picture of himself backstage before the show.
There’s no doubt in my mind, with hindsight being 20/20, that Acosta greatly regretted this decision. Immensely.
Once the picture was posted online, Acosta’s critics had a field day turning it into memes and all sorts of ridiculousness.

Of course Jim @Acosta tweeted a photo of himself looking approvingly upon himself. https://t.co/rSnguAPrxr

The Washington Examiner’s Byron York also pointed out that Acosta’s appearance on Colbert’s show — and his pre-show selfie — came less than 24 hours after The Atlantic, in an op-ed, criticized Acosta’s “dangerous brand of performance journalism.”

This guy is some piece of work.
At the end of the day, this man’s whole career is based upon being obnoxious, which in some circles might lead to great success, but as someone covering politics at the White House, he just comes across as a jerk most of the time.
Perhaps one day he’ll get the point everyone is making about him and opt to discontinue his awful brand of journalism and get back to actually covering the news. Just an idea.
