Colorado Counties Buck Liberal Lunacy, Declaring Their Own “Sanctuary” Status

Colorado is keeping it Constitutional in 2019, and conservatives couldn’t be happier.

While the mainstream media continues to divide our nation down powerful, political lines, there has been a galvanizing effect among the nation’s conservatives.

The democrats, who are almost always in-step with the media haven’t felt the same sting, however, leading to an inordinate amount of backlash among lifelong republicans and freedom lovers.

In what could amount to one of the zaniest political moves in recent years, a number of “sanctuary cities” have sprung up in our nation’s more liberal locales, wherein undocumented immigrants are free from the worry of being cited for their status.

Now, several counties in Colorado have realized that they, too, can play this game…but with a heavy conservative slant.

On March 3, 2019, Breitbart News reported that two Colorado counties–Custer and Freemont–had declared themselves “Second Amendment Sanctuaries,” and other counties were considering doing the same. A total of nine counties have now made the declaration.

9 News reports that Custer and Freemont are joined by “Kiowa, Montezuma, Otero, Weld, Moffat and Rio Blanco” counties. KRDO adds Teller County to the list.

In these areas, local authorities will adhere to the Constitutional right to bear arms, as opposed to any infringements created at the federal level.

Teller County board Chairman Norm Steen spoke to the passage of sanctuary status, saying, “It defends the right of Teller County law enforcement to abide by the authority given to them by the U.S. Constitution.”

For “sanctuary” proponents and Constitutional scholars like, the rights guaranteed by our nation’s founding document supersede any laws being churned out by our elite, political ruling class, particularly in cases where these reactionary lawmakers have no experience with the tyranny that spawned them.

Devin Nunes Says ‘Deep State’ Exists And Is ‘Much Worse Than Even I Thought It Ever Was’

Published

on

For the last several years we’ve been hearing the term “deep state” from folks in the Trump administration as well as from conservative pundits and news organizations in reference to a secret, shadowy group of leftist individuals within the government working against President Trump and his agenda for our country. Some folks have claimed this is all just a tinfoil hat kind of conspiracy theory, but if what Rep. Devin Nunes says is true, then not only is this network of resistance defectors real, it’s far worse than we could have imagined. Here’s more on this story from The Washington Examiner: California Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday about his efforts to raise awareness of bureaucracy within the federal government believed to be undermining President Trump. “One thing that I tell the American people every time that I speak and I go out on the road and I talk to people is that, remember, the deep state here is much worse than even I thought it ever was,” Nunes said in an interview along with Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, to talk about efforts to renew and reform parts of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Trump’s distrust of people inside the White House and the federal government has intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, and he believes his government is filled with “snakes” he wants to be fired and replaced. Steps are already being taken to weed them out. A network of conservative activists led by Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is helping compile detailed memos of disloyal government officials they want to be fired, while also finding Trump loyalists to replace them, according to Axios. According to Nunes, the…

Former GOP Presidential Candidate Herman Cain Slams Bernie Sanders; Says ‘Democratic Socialism Doesn’t Exist’

Published

on

Conservative pundit and former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain recently went after Sen. Bernie Sanders, the current top contender for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, stating that Sanders’ version of “Democratic socialism” does not exist. Sanders has had a bit of a rough week after making some rather controversial statements praising some of the “good” done by communist dictator Fidel Castro during his time in Cuba, comments he later doubled down on instead of backing away from. Here’s more on this from The Washington Examiner: “Bernie Sanders would have you believe that he is not like the socialists who have ruined Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and — going back a few years — all of Eastern Europe,” Cain wrote in an opinion article in the Western Journal. “Oh sure, he agrees with many of their economic ideas, but don’t worry. He’s a democratic socialist, and that’s different.” Cain then said, “Democratic socialism doesn’t exist. That’s because it can’t exist, because socialism can’t take hold in a truly democratic system.” “In order for socialism to ‘work,’ the state has to take control of major industries like health care, energy and manufacturing,” he wrote. “It has to confiscate massive amounts of private wealth. It has to control the means of production and distribution. It has to control wages and prices. It has to monopolize things like higher education.” Sanders has been riding high off victories in New Hampshire and Nevada and has stated that he believes Democratic socialism will lead to political and economic freedom for people in every community. The Vermont senator has accused President Trump and others on the right side of the political spectrum of fear mongering concerning his socialist views and policies, particularly when it comes to the issues of healthcare, the economy, and climate change. The fact that…
