Democrats don’t want to compromise. They never did, do, want to, or will. Ever.
Never ever, never. Not when they’re in control, not when Republicans are in control.
Never.
Period.
Dems want complete and utter control.

Democratic lawmakers brought a border security briefing at the White House to a screeching halt Wednesday, refusing to even listen to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, a White House official tells The Daily Caller.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy echoed this version of events to reporters outside the White House immediately after the briefing, saying, “Once the secretary started, Schumer interrupted her and didn’t want to hear it.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA) told reporters:
“I’m a little disappointed with, what I would say, some on the opposite side. They wouldn’t, once the secretary started they wouldn’t, uh, Senator Schumer interrupted her and they really didn’t want to hear it.“

Democrats will act “boldly” to bring “commonsense” gun control reforms to the table, Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.
Pelosi: “The new Democratic majority will act boldly and decisively to pass commonsense, life-saving background checks that are overwhelmingly supported by the American people.“
With Pelosi’s support, Democrats coalesced to create a gun reform proposal that would require federal background checks on all gun sales, including private sales, Politico reported. Democratic California Rep. Mike Thompson, a Pelosi ally who says a bill for universal background checks will be introduced to Congress in early 2019, is spearheading the measure, according to Politico.
Thompson: “The American people want this. They’re way ahead of the Congress, they’re way ahead of the White House.“
To the left, a border wall with Mexico is immoral. Abortion, however, is fine.
In other words, keeping lawbreakers out of the country so Americans have one less thing to worry about is bad, but literally committing murdering is acceptable.
Priorities!
Pelosi: “Does [Trump] want to have government closed forever? What’s this about?”
Translation=> Trump is willing to shut down the government since Dems won’t give in to border wall funding, so Dems are prepared to keep government shut down for a long time.
“Let’s hope that there won’t be a shutdown of the government. That’s a very bad thing to do. Maybe the president doesn’t grasp that, but that is very harmful to our country.“
“We’re not going for the $5 billion for the wall. We simply are not.“
“[Republicans] do not have the votes to pass the president’s proposal — $5 billion dollars, whatever it is — for the wall. Nothing is going to change in that regard.“

He remained on the loose for longer than expected but was eventually apprehended.
Pelosi, of California!, was vacationing in Hawaii while all of this was going down, as Officer Singh’s brother cries his heart out at a press conference over his loss.
