CONFIRMED: Four Out of Ten Americans Now Favorably Embrace Some Form of Socialism

Uh oh. Is this the end?

Because the mainstream media fails to report the truth, Democrat Socialists like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are winning.

It has now been learned that over 40 percent of Americans would embrace some form of socialism.

This is what happens when the blind lead the blind.

This could also spell very bad news for conservatives come 2020 if any decide to stay home.

Check this out, via Gallup:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans today are more closely divided than they were earlier in the last century when asked whether some form of socialism would be a good or bad thing for the country. While 51% of U.S. adults say socialism would be a bad thing for the country, 43% believe it would be a good thing. Those results contrast with a 1942 Roper/Fortune survey that found 40% describing socialism as a bad thing, 25% a good thing and 34% not having an opinion.

The Roper/Fortune survey is one of the oldest trend questions measuring attitudes on socialism in the U.S. Gallup’s update of the question in an April 17-30 survey finds Americans more likely to have an opinion on the matter now, as well as a smaller gap in the percentage calling socialism a bad thing vs. a good thing.

Previous Gallup research shows that Americans’ definition of socialism has changed over the years, with nearly one in four now associating the concept with social equality and 17% associating it with the more classical definition of having some degree of government control over the means of production. A majority of Democrats have said they view socialism positively in Gallup polling since 2010, including 57% in the most recent measure in 2018.

For as ridiculous as Bernie Sanders’ policies are, at least the guy is consistent.

He makes it clear that he’s a full-on socialist and he’s not ashamed of it – for whatever reason.

If president, the 2020 hopeful says private insurance companies will go bye-bye and you will certainly pay more in taxes.

Bernie noted, “What Medicare For All does is it eliminates your private health insurance…premiums. You’re not going to be paying that. You’re not going to be paying co-payments. You’re not going to be paying deductibles. …Will you be paying more in taxes? Yes you will!

WATCH:

Sanders loves America like Barack Obama respected the Constitution – not at all.

Ocasio-Cortez continues to show she knows so very little of which she speaks.

This time, she responded to former Florida governor, current Florida senator, Rick Scott.

Scott shut her down hard.

It all began with 2020 contender Sen. Cory Booker’s (NJ) thoughts on creating a federal license for gun owners.

LOOK:

Sen. Cory Booker is rolling out a sweeping gun control agenda that includes requiring licenses for all gun owners, as well as more standard proposals such as universal background checks and banning assault weapons

Scott’s tweets:

🚨BREAKING: the latest terrible idea to come out of the Democrats’ 2020 primary is a federal gun registry. If you want to buy a gun, @CoryBooker wants you to register with the federal government.

This would be scary if Booker had any chance of becoming President. (1/2)

What’s next? Will we have to register sharp knives? Maybe @AOC will make us register every time we buy meat as part of her #GreenNewDeal.

The Democrats are officially the @BernieSanders Party. They want America to be less prosperous and less free. (2/2)

Enter Ocasio-Cortez, who doesn’t get it:

That a sitting US Senator can say something lacking so much critical thinking + honesty is embarrassing to the institution.

If you were a female candidate, maybe you’d be called “unlikeable,” “crazy,” or “uninformed.”

But since you’re not, this inadequacy is accepted as normal.

Finally, Scott brings the thunder:

That a sitting Congresswoman doesn’t understand sarcasm would be embarrassing to the institution if you hadn’t embarrassed yours to the point of irrelevance already.

America rejects socialism and will continue to.

As you’d imagine, AOC was left speechless.

Ocasio-Cortez recently said about the Department of Veterans Affairs, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

What’s weird is that everyone seems to agree, for years now, that the VA is wildly broken.

In a surprising twist, President Donald Trump actually agrees with AOC.

Well, he agrees with her in his own way.

LOOK:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is correct, the VA is not broken, it is doing great. But that is only because of the Trump Administration. We got Veterans Choice & Accountability passed. “President Trump deserves a lot of credit.” Dan Caldwell, Concerned Veterans of America

THE NUMBERS ARE IN: Florida has Lowest COVID Rate in the Nation

Well, would you look at that.

If Governor RonDesantis isn’t planning to shove this in everyone’s face for a while, we’d be surprised.

Florida, a state that has been the bane of the liberals’ existence in recent months due to their freedom-first coronavirus precautions, now get to gloat.  And bigly.

In mid-August, Florida was averaging about 25,000 new cases a day, or about 116 for every 100,000 residents. That was the worst rate in the U.S. — and one of the worst in the world. Awash in the hypercontagious Delta variant, the Sunshine State became one of the epicenters of the global pandemic.

During the past two months, however, Florida’s daily average has plummeted by more than 90 percent, to about 1,700 cases, or eight for every 100,000 residents. That’s roughly half of California’s current COVID rate and less than a quarter of Vermont’s. Hawaii (with nine cases for every 100,000 residents) is the only other state in single digits.

DeSantis has been absolutely adamant about allowing Floridians to choose the level of risk that they wish to take as it pertains to COVID-19, and has barred businesses and institutions from enacting vaccine or mask mandates.  This has gained him a great deal of criticism from the liberal left, who have insisted that the Governor is being reckless.

Search Warrant in Baldwin Shooting Reveals Blatant Negligence

This is unconscionable.

Any time that someone dies on a movie set, you have to know that something has gone terribly, unforgivably wrong.

These sets are microcosms of the work of enormous and wealthy companies who are lawyered up to the gills, wading around in an industry where someone else’s misfortune is not to be squandered by the competition.

Nothing should ever go wrong on a movie set, if not for these simple facts alone.

That is why the latest details in the shooting death of a cinematographer last week are so damning.

The crew member responsible for overall safety on the set of Rust has admitted he didn’t properly check the gun that Alec Baldwin fired on October 21 and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

“During an interview with David Halls, when Affiant asked David about the safety protocol on set in regards to firearms, he advised, ‘I check the barrel for obstructions, most of the time there’s no live fire, she [Hannah] opens the hatch and spins the drum, and I say cold gun on set,’” reveals an affidavit successfully submitted by the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office for a new search warrant issued today (read the search warrant here).

“David advised when Hannah showed him the firearm before continuing rehearsal, he could only remember seeing three rounds,” the filing adds, noting the interaction that afternoon last week between the First AD and armorer Hannah Gutierrez.

And then…

“He advised he should have checked all of them, but didn’t, and couldn’t recall if she spun the drum,” the affidavit bluntly states of the crew member who has emerged at the core of this tragedy.

No charges have yet to be filed in response to the incident, but prosecutors have made it very clear that they haven’t ruled it out.
