Congressional Subpoenas TORCHED by Trump as Mueller Fallout Continues

“I say it’s enough”.

mueller report

The democrats certainly appear hellbent on getting the entire, un-redacted Mueller report, and President Trump is none to pleased.

Instead of focusing on the last 22 months of investigation, the President has instead chosen to move forward, hoping that congressional lawmakers will get on board with his plans to secure the border, reduce the cost of prescription medicines, and repair our nation’s crumbling infrastructure.

The democrats have spent their time, however, on issuing a glut of subpoenas that would effectively provide them with every single piece of the Mueller report on Russian collusion.  Feeling that this is contrary to the progress of the nation, the President is vowing to fight the legal maneuvers to the bitter end.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday excoriated Democrats for probing his finances and his administration and declared, “We’re fighting all the subpoenas.”

“The subpoenas are ridiculous. I have been the most transparent president and administration in the history of our country by far,” Trump said, referring to recent moves by House Democrats. Trump spoke to reporters the South Lawn of the White House before departing for an event on the opioid crisis.

Then, in an assertive tone, the Commander in Chief added:

“I say it’s enough,” Trump said Wednesday. “Get back to infrastructure, get to back to cutting taxes, get back to lowering prescription drug prices.”

This is unlikely to sway the “resistance” democrats, who for over two years have been working to undermine President Trump, at least in the eyes of his supporters.

Sondland Says There Was a ‘Quid Pro Quo’ From Giuliani For White House Meeting

Published

During Wednesday’s impeachment hearing, Ambassador Gordon Sondland, a critically important witness due to his close contact with the president on Ukraine, testified in a front of a congressional committee and stated in his opening statement saying there was a indeed a quid pro quo presented by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani to Ukraine involving a White House meeting and call. Here’s more from The Daily Wire: He also repeated that he “came to believe” the release of U.S. military aide to Ukraine was connected to the investigations, suggesting that he was not told so by the president. “I know that members of this committee have frequently framed these complicated issues in the form of a simple question: Was there a ‘quid pro quo?’” Sondland said Wednesday. “With regard to the requested White House call and White House meeting, the answer is yes.” In his opening statement Wednesday, Sondland underscored six key points, beginning with the role of Giuliani, with whom he said was directed by the president to work. “First, Secretary [Rick] Perry, Ambassador [Kurt] Volker and I worked with Mr. Rudy Giuliani on Ukraine matters at the express direction of the President of the United States,” said Sondland. “We did not want to work with Mr. Giuliani. Simply put, we played the hand we were dealt. We all understood that if we refused to work with Mr. Giuliani, we would lose an important opportunity to cement relations between the United States and Ukraine. So we followed the President’s orders.” Sondland went on to make it clear other officials were not quite comfortable to work with Giuliani, but “did not believe his role was improper at the time.” “Second, although we disagreed with the need to involve Mr. Giuliani, we did not believe that his role was improper at the time.…

The GOP Looking To Subpoena Hunter Biden, Ukraine Whistleblower, And DNC Files

Published

on

The top member of the GOP sitting on the House Intelligence Committee crafted a letter and sent it to Chairman Adam Schiff asking that Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President and current presidential candidate Joe Biden, be subpoenaed, along with the whistleblower that kicked off this whole impeachment inquiry in the first place. Here’s more from Fox News: Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., along with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, penned a scathing letter to Schiff in which they slammed the “sham ‘impeachment inquiry’” and notified the chairman of their intent to subpoena Biden and the whistleblower. Jordan, the ranking member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, has been appointed as a temporary member of the House Intelligence Committee. “The American people understand how you have affirmatively prevented Republicans from examining serious issues directly relevant to the issues,” the two GOP lawmakers told Schiff in their letter. “Therefore, to provide some basic level of fairness and objectivity to your ‘impeachment inquiry,’ we intend to subpoena the anonymous whistleblower and Hunter Biden for sworn testimony in closed-door depositions.” Nunes and Jordan added that they plan to subpoena the whistleblower’s documents and communications regarding the complaint, the records surrounding Hunter Biden’s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings and the Democratic National Committee’s communications with Ukrainian officials and records relating to Alexandra Chalupa. This letter is the second one to be sent from Nunes to Schiff, informing him of his intentions to call up the whistleblower and Hunter Biden. Earlier this month, Nunes sent out his first letter to Schiff about wanting to speak with those witnesses, however, it still remains to be seen how many of the individuals on the Republican Party’s list will actually be approved by Schiff. A resolution was recently passed that grants the…
