Dem Civil War Heats Up Again as AOC Takes Stab at Joe Biden

There is no doubt that the democratic party is in trouble, but the latest from inside the progressive posse is downright pathetic.

Democratic darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is no stranger to the limelight, with the young freshman Congresswoman making it into the news just about every single day.  This is likely no mistake, as AOC is employing similar public strategies to President Trump in this regard.

The idea is simple:  Saturation.  It’s what will keep the AOC fans clamoring for more, and it allows her to dictate what is being said about her.

But, as simple as it is, this tactic is also shallow and predictable, as Ocasio-Cortez must simply work in circles in order to stay on top of the media pile.  As she goes down the list of people and topics to say something controversial about, (one a day, it should be noted), AOC will predictably start to reach into the desperation department.

Such is the case today as she attempts to insult Joe Biden.

Democratic rising star Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has not revealed who she will endorse as her party’s 2020 presidential candidate but said Sunday she hopes it’s not former Vice President Joe Biden.

The freshman congresswoman from New York told Yahoo News podcast “Skullduggery”that she will support whoever wins the nomination, but said a bid by Biden would be going backward, instead of forward.

“That does not particularly animate right now,” she said, adding that she has “a lot of issues” with a potential Biden run.

“I can understand why people would be excited by that, this idea that we can go back to the good old days with Obama, with Obama’s vice president. There’s an emotional element to that, but I don’t want to go back. I want to go forward.”

AOC’s soundbites come like clockwork these days, leading many to believe that she is posturing herself for some higher office in the future.

From where we’re sitting, it all looks like predictable, political marketing.
