Dem Senator: I Don’t Care About ‘Little, Legal, Constitutional Defenses’ They Used to Defend Trump
Back up…she said what!?

Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono (D) has become famous in the era of the Trump administration. Notably, Hirono is one of the president’s loudest Congressional critics. Accordingly, she’s often caught saying very, very silly things.
During an interview with MSNBC on Friday, Mazie said it didn’t matter to her what “Constitutional defenses” Trump’s legal team came up with because of course Trump is guilty of something – anything.
Read that last sentence again. It says everything.

The main problem with Democrats is that it’s hard to take them seriously. If they’re not being overtly hypocritical then they are saying something incredibly ignorant.
You know the drill.
Hirono is one of the worst members of Congress Democrats have to offer. She’s constantly wrong on the issues but thinks she’s right, which makes it all the more awful.
Last November, she said something so ridiculous it should make moderate Democrats switch teams immediately.
But will it?

Even they know the science doesn’t support their claims, so now they have to treat it as a religion to keep people reeled in. All to hide that it is a massive money and power grab that will hurt the poorest people most.

Manhunt Ensues After Possible Ex-Cop Commits Massacre in Texas
Authorities are telling residents to shelter in place.

The citizens of Austin, Texas are on high alert Sunday afternoon after a massacre left at least three people dead with the suspect still at large as of this writing. Law enforcement has identified the suspected killer, and are scouring the city looking for clues. A massive multi-agency manhunt including the FBI and U.S. Marshals is underway in Austin for an armed suspect wanted for killing at least three people near an apartment complex late Sunday morning. Austin police said that the three lifeless bodies were all adults, including two Hispanic females, and one Black male. They said they believe the suspect is Stephen Nicholas Broderick, who is possibly a former law enforcement officer charged with sexual assault of a child last summer. Austin’s KXAN, citing an arrest affidavit, reported last June that the Travis County Sheriff’s Office detective was on administrative leave following an arrest for allegations of sexual assault. Police had some very specific ideas of what could come next in the case. The Austin Police Department said the suspect was still at large as of approximately 2:30 p.m. local time and is considered armed and dangerous. Police have urged everyone nearby to shelter in place and report suspicious activity. “We are concerned he might possibly take a hostage and be himself sheltered somewhere waiting for us to leave,” Interim Austin Police Chief Joseph Chacon said during a news conference Sunday afternoon. Police said that the victims were known to Broderick, but did not elaborate any further.

Biden Team Sends Stern Threat to Russia Over Navalny’s Health
This is just the latest escalation in the war of words between these two nations.

While every nation on this planet likely harbors some sort of terrible secret, or some evil underpinnings, no one plays the role of international bad guy quite like Russia does. The enormous nation has no real qualms about the world knowing its business, and Vladimir Putin has held onto power for as long as he as by doing the bare minimum required to keep him from being called a dictator. Beyond that, the nation appears fond of strongman-shenanigans like poisoning and jailing dissident journalists like Alexi Navalny, who is on death’s door in a Russian prison camp. If he dies, US President Joe Biden says that the Kremlin will pay the price. President Joe Biden’s national security adviser warned Sunday that there will be repercussions for Russia if Putin critic Alexei Navalny dies, amid reports that his health is rapidly deteriorating in prison. “We have communicated to the Russian government that what happens to Mr. Navalny in their custody is their responsibility and they will be held accountable by the international community,” Jake Sullivan said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Biden has had a fairly poor relationship with Russia doing his first few months in office, with the two nations issuing not-so-subtle statements and threats in each others’ direction.
