What if the judge was Muslim?

It’s not okay to be Christian in Donald Trump’s America.

Just ask Democrat Senators Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Kamala Harris of California.

They want a Catholic judge to answer for being a member of the Knights of Columbus.

From Daily Caller:

Two Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee are pressing a nominee for the Nebraska federal trial court about his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal service organization of the Catholic Church.

Democratic Sens. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Kamala Harris of California submitted written questions in December to Brian Buescher, an Omaha lawyer nominated to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, proposing that he resign his affiliation with the knights, which they call an “all male society” that “has taken a number of extreme positions” on social questions.

[…]

“The Knights of Columbus is a Roman Catholic service organization with approximately two million members worldwide,” Buescher wrote in response to Hirono and Harris’ questions. “The organization has a religious and charitable purpose. I joined the Knights of Columbus when I was 18 years old and have been a member ever since. My membership has involved participation in charitable and community events in local Catholic parishes.”

Now, Hirono is doubling down…

From Daily Caller:

Hawaii Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono on Friday doubled down on her criticisms of the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic organization and one of the world’s most charitable entities.

[…]

After Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse introduced a resolution reaffirming the unconstitutionality of religious tests for public office, Hirono once again went on the attack accusing the mild-mannered Nebraskan of taking an “alt-right” position.

Hirono: “If my colleague, the junior Senator from Nebraska, wants to embrace the alt-right’s position by offering this resolution, that is his business. Rather than passing a resolution to address a problem that doesn’t exist, we should focus on something real, like ending this totally unnecessary, unjustified shutdown.

Kamala is one of the top ethics violators of 2018.

From Daily Wire:

According to a nonpartisan watchdog group, two Democratic senators were the “top ethics violators of 2018” because they solicited donations by trumpeting their antagonism to Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation during the hearings to confirm him. Those two senators were — drum roll — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).

According to the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT), the “winners” are Harris and Warren.

Harris thinks members of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement are comparable to men of the Ku Klux Klan.

They are one and the same.

This is who Democrats might want to run for president in 2020?

Well, yeah.

I guess that makes sense.

Watch below as Harris gets destroyed by the acting director of ICE.

From Daily Wire:

Harris made the comparison during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing to consider the nomination of Ronald Vitello to be the new director of ICE.

Harris asked Vitiello about comments he previously made in which he referred to the Democratic Party as “liberalcratic” or “NeoKlanist,” in an attempt to publicly shame him. Harris repeatedly pressed him to explain why he made the remark and why the remark was wrong for him to make.

Vitiello: “The Klan was what we could call today a domestic terrorist group.”

Harris: “Why? Why would we call them a domestic terrorist group?”

Vitiello: “Because they tried to use fear and force to change the political environment.”

Harris: “And what was the motivation for the use of fear and force?”

Vitiello: “It was based on race and ethnicity.”

Harris: “Right. And are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the law and do you see any parallels?”

Vitiello: “I do not see any parallels between sworn officers and agents–”

Harris: “I’m talking about perception.”

Vitiello: “I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as it related to enforcing the law. I see no perception that puts ICE in the same category as the KKK.”

WATCH:

Not Joe Biden. Not Eric Holder.

Not Hillary Clinton or Michael Avenatti.

Not Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, or Elizabeth Warren.

Not Michael Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, or Amy Klobuchar.

The top choice for Democrat presidential nominee in 2020 is…

“None of the above.”

From The Hill:

Thirty percent of the sample said they would prefer that “none of the above” become the Democratic nominee when asked to choose among former Vice President Joe Biden, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D), Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I), New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker (D), California Sen. Kamala Harris (D), former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

NBC President Says Ronan Farrow’s New Book ‘Motivated Not By Pursuit Of Truth, But An Axe To Grind’

Published

NBC News President Noah Oppenheim is not exactly what you’d call a fan of Ronan Farrow’s new book, “Catch and Kill,” calling it an “effort to defame” the network, one which is “clearly motivated not by a pursuit of truth, but an axe to grind.” Those comments were part of an email that was sent out by Oppenheim to all of the employees of the NBC News network on Monday morning. Check out the details from Fox News: The lengthy memo obtained by Fox News rejects Farrow’s reporting that suggests NBC wasn’t truthful regarding knowledge of alleged sexual misconduct by former “Today” co-host Matt Lauer, and that the network refused to expose Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator because he leveraged information regarding Lauer. “Now that we’ve read Farrow’s book, it’s clear – his smear rests on the allegation that NBC’s management knew about and took steps to hide Matt Lauer’s misconduct before his firing in November of 2017. Without that, he has no basis on which to rest his second conspiracy theory — that his Harvey Weinstein reporting was squashed to protect Lauer,” Oppenheim wrote to staffers. Oppenheim and NBC News chairman Andy Lack have been accused of a “massive breach of journalistic integrity” by Farrow’s former NBC News producer Rich McHugh. Farrow has long claimed that NBC News stopped his reporting in an attempt to essentially cover for Weinstein. The situation has been a public relations nightmare for NBC and Oppenheim’s memo to staffers is the latest attempt to discredit “Catch and Kill” before its Tuesday release. The highly anticipated book details Farrow’s side of the story and the Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter has already caused NBC executives to release statements and hold staffer sit-downs prior to its official release on Tuesday. Oppenheim went on to write in his…

Christopher Columbus Statue Vandalized On Columbus Day: ‘Stop Celebrating Genocide’

Published

on

Residents of the city of Providence woke up this morning to find that a statue of famous explorer Christopher Columbus had been vandalized by individuals who aren’t exactly fans of the historical figure. The statue was covered in red paint and featured a sign that read, “Stop celebrating genocide.” The word “genocide” was scrawled on the back of the statue in orange paint. Check out the details from the Washington Examiner: The vandalism marked Columbus Day, a federal holiday commemorating the explorer’s arrival in the Americas in 1492. Columbus Day has grown contentious in recent decades after activists began pushing to change the day to Indigenous Peoples Day. The Indigenous Peoples Day movement sprung up around the 1992 quincentenary celebration of Columbus’s first voyage to the New World when scholarship of the Italian explorer was growing. The movement gained traction around the idea that Columbus sparked centuries of mass killings against Native Americans. Columbus’ voyage to the New World, at that time unknown to Europe, marked the beginning of centuries of mass immigration from Europe to the Americas. The explorer completed four voyages from Europe to the New World and earned the title “Admiral of the Ocean Sea” before his death in 1506. Columbus Day, and Christopher Columbus himself have become controversial in an era where political correctness, infecting the halls of higher education, have convinced young people that Columbus is a villain rather than the hero he’s been celebrated as being for hundreds of years.
