Democrat Lawmaker Proposes Bill Allowing Inmates to Vote From Behind Bars (Details)

This seems like a very, very silly idea…

How silly do you have to be to propose a bill that allows confirmed lawbreakers the right to vote in elections? You have to be very silly. And not just silly but a Democrat, also.

Meet New York lawmaker Kevin Parker. Parker was probably voted most likely to grow up to be a silly person when he was in high school. And if so, he nailed it!

Just imagine…men and women who are behind bars for theft, rape, murder, extortion, whatever it might be – deciding the laws workaday citizens have to live by. Pure ridiculousness at its finest.

State Sen. Kevin Parker (D-Brooklyn) introduced a new bill ahead of election day next Tuesday, Nov. 5, allowing prisoners to register and vote from prison.

The state and county board of elections would administer the new program. Convicted felons would also be allowed to participate.

Parker bloviated, “If an incarcerated individual can be counted as a whole person in the census, then why can’t their vote be counted in an election?

Thankfully, even some New York Democrats don’t wholeheartedly agree with Parker on this issue – if you can believe that.

Long Island Democrat Sen. Monica Martinez noted, “If an individual has committed a crime and is incarcerated, they have lost the right to vote. They should serve their sentence and not be allowed to exercise a right they once held.

Bernie Sanders feels the same way Parker does, though.

From Daily Wire:

Iowa is considering opening up voting to convicted felons who have completed their jail terms. But at a stop in Muscatine, Iowa on Saturday, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders took the policy one step further, demanding that felons be allowed to vote while serving their time in prison.

The Des Moines Register reports that the Vermont independent, who is running as the most progressive candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, suggested that prisoners should be allowed to vote from behind bars — a step further than Iowa seems willing to go.

Sanders noted, “I think that is absolutely the direction we should go.

Biden & Harris Refuse to Answer Questions From the Press — For Third Day In A Row (Video)

They must not have anything to say to the American people…

Donald Trump picked Mike Pence to be his vice presidential running mate in 2016 because the man was the chief executive of a state. Pence had gubernatorial experience, as well as a past in the lower chamber of Congress. Joe Biden, on the other hand, chose Kamala Harris to be his VP running mate because of the color of her skin. That’s literally the only reason. It was a purely political move, as the Biden camp knows they can call everyone racist if they say something negative about Harris – and the media will back them up. But Joe and Commiela had better be careful. If they continue to sidestep even liberal reporters, said liberal reporters are likely to become salty. From Fox News: Joe Biden said in an interview Wednesday that some funding should “absolutely” be redirected from police, amid calls from some in his party to “defund the police” in the wake of the protests across the country. Biden’s campaign has said he does not support defunding the police. But in a Now This interview with activist Ady Barkan, the presumptive Democratic nominee said that police forces don’t need surplus military equipment, saying this is what leads them to “become the enemy” in a community. Bill Barr: There Will Be ‘Significant Developments’ In Durham Probe Before November Election

It’s about time!

The Durham probe will leave yet another stain on Barack Obama’s record, showing how inept and corrupt the 44th president’s administration truly was. And it’s about time something got done. The left won’t pay much attention to this story, because they know they don’t want to know. You feel me? Clinesmith was referred for potential prosecution by the Justice Department’s inspector general’s office, which conducted its own review of the Russia investigation. Specifically, the inspector general accused Clinesmith, though not by name, of altering an email about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page to say that he was “not a source” for another government agency. Page has said he was a source for the CIA. The DOJ relied on that assertion as it submitted a third and final renewal application in 2017 to eavesdrop on Page under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Keep America Great!
