Democratic Socialist Ocasio-Cortez Asked What She'll Do in Congress. Her Answer's a Jumbled Mess.
Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is on a mission to not only win her congressional race, but also to prove that out of all the clueless and inept politicians in this country, she’s the queen.
We’ve already seen her struggle to answer basic policy questions and also drop a major gaffe where she thought congressional politicians had an inauguration, but those just aren’t enough for her to cinch the coveted title mentioned above.
She decided to try cementing her place in the pantheon of idiocy known as the progressive movement by delivering a ‘jumbled word salad’ when asked what she planned to do in Congress.
This is almost painful.
So when she appeared on Friday on MSNBC, host Chris Hayes lobbed her the softest of pitches. Hayes, who rightly predicted the Democrat will win her heavily liberal district in New York, asked this simple question about what Cortez will do once she gets to Capitol Hill. “What’s your plan here?” he asked.
“Well, I think a lot of it has to do with changing our strategy around governance, you know. There is a lot of inside baseball, and inside the beltway, as you know, you always hear that term thrown around. But there are very few organizers in Congress and I do think that organizers operate differently. It’s a different kind of strategy and what it is is really about organizing and really thinking about that word ‘organizing’, segmenting people, being strategic in their actions and really bringing together a cohesive strategy of putting pressure on the chamber instead of only focusing on pressure inside the chamber,” the 28-year-old former bartender said.
Huh?

The research arm of the Republican National Committee mocked the answer.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the future of the Democratic Party, their new hope of carrying the torch of progressivism into the future of America. This is the same person they hope will spawn others like herself and fundamentally transform America into a failed socialistic utopian nightmare.
If this is the kind of politicians the future has to offer, as long as conservatives play their cards right, they should pretty much own the government for eternity.
Again, if they play their cards right.
