Democratic Socialist Ocasio-Cortez Asked What She’ll Do in Congress. Her Answer’s a Jumbled Mess.

Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is on a mission to not only win her congressional race, but also to prove that out of all the clueless and inept politicians in this country, she’s the queen.

We’ve already seen her struggle to answer basic policy questions and also drop a major gaffe where she thought congressional politicians had an inauguration, but those just aren’t enough for her to cinch the coveted title mentioned above.

She decided to try cementing her place in the pantheon of idiocy known as the progressive movement by delivering a ‘jumbled word salad’ when asked what she planned to do in Congress.

So when she appeared on Friday on MSNBC, host Chris Hayes lobbed her the softest of pitches. Hayes, who rightly predicted the Democrat will win her heavily liberal district in New York, asked this simple question about what Cortez will do once she gets to Capitol Hill. “What’s your plan here?” he asked.

“Well, I think a lot of it has to do with changing our strategy around governance, you know. There is a lot of inside baseball, and inside the beltway, as you know, you always hear that term thrown around. But there are very few organizers in Congress and I do think that organizers operate differently. It’s a different kind of strategy and what it is is really about organizing and really thinking about that word ‘organizing’, segmenting people, being strategic in their actions and really bringing together a cohesive strategy of putting pressure on the chamber instead of only focusing on pressure inside the chamber,” the 28-year-old former bartender said.

Huh?

But Hayes loved the answer. “That’s a really interesting thought,” he said.

The research arm of the Republican National Committee mocked the answer.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the future of the Democratic Party, their new hope of carrying the torch of progressivism into the future of America. This is the same person they hope will spawn others like herself and fundamentally transform America into a failed socialistic utopian nightmare.

If this is the kind of politicians the future has to offer, as long as conservatives play their cards right, they should pretty much own the government for eternity.

Again, if they play their cards right.

Biden ran for office repeatedly claiming that no one making less than $400K would pay more in taxes under his plan. We are now seeing that Biden lied. The Tax Policy Center released new data on the realities of Biden’s tax proposals and found that Biden’s policies will slam middle and low-income taxpayers right where it hurts. The organization says that 99.8 percent of Americans earning between $500,00 and $1million will pay an average of $8,810 more in taxes each year under Biden’s tax plan. This might be in keeping with Biden’s campaign pledge that only “the rich” will pay more. But the TPC also found that people who make far less will also get hit under Biden. The center says that people making between $75,000 and $500,00 will also get pinched. This is not as a result of direct taxes on income but of the impact of the other hikes in rates, such as the corporate tax rise. According to the Daily Mail: Three-quarters of households earning between $75,000 and $100,000 annually would face paying an additional $440 per year in taxes under Biden’s tax hikes, according to the data released last week. About 69 percent of those earning between $100,000 and $200,000 would see their yearly tax bill rise by $830 on average, according to the analysis. Meanwhile, 83.7 percent of those earning between $200,000 and $500,000 would see an increase of $2,040 on average. But most Americans will be impacted indirectly by Biden’s giant tax hike. “For those looking to see if Biden kept his promise to not raise taxes for those making $400,000 or less, the answer is: Mostly, but not entirely,” wrote Howard Gleckman, a senior fellow at the Tax Policy Center. “Including corporate tax increases, most households would pay more in 2022. About three-quarters…

A left-wing New Jersey school district has been forced to reverse its decision to delete holiday names from school calendars after a massive backlash from the community. Last week, the Randolph Board of Education decided to delete the names of all school holidays because names like “Christmas” were too divisive. But after a backlash from the community, the district reversed its ill-conceived policy. The district’s move came after they canceled Columbus Day and renamed it “Indigenous People’s Day.” But the discussion soon moved to the claim that all the holidays were racist and needed to be dealt with. By the June 10 meeting, the district decided to cancel all the holiday names and simply call them a “day off.” But on Monday, the board had to face the music. According to NJ.com: Following a nearly four-hour meeting Monday, which included public comment from about 50 people, the board voted 8-1 to adopt the motion to restore the calendar to the way it was before Columbus Day and the other holiday names were taken off. Members also voted to amend the motion so that it would include sending the calendar to a committee for review and to gain input on it from a community survey. The idea was proposed by board member Vernetha Hope Powell, who said she wanted to community to be involved in the process. Most members of the public who spoke during the meeting wanted to have the entire calendar changed back to the way it was, with a smaller group calling for only Columbus Day to be called something else, with one suggesting that it should be called “Italian Heritage Day.” “We live in a cancel culture and we are very sensitive to that and we don’t want to see that in Randolph,” one resident said during…
