Democrats Feeling Blue After Seeing What Household Income is Doing Under Trump

This is good news!

Published

on

Ever since President Trump was sworn into office, the left has been counting down the days until the 2018 midterm elections, believing this would be their golden opportunity to cruise on in and steal Congress right out from underneath Republicans.

After all, Trump got elected. There’s no way he’d do a good enough job in office to make folks want to vote for him or the GOP pretty much ever again, right?

Wrong.

In fact, thanks to many of Trump’s policies, the median household income in America has climbed three percent, which means the economy is becoming stronger by the day, an issue that’s near and dear to the hearts of a vast majority of Americans.

Median household income has been steadily increasing under Trump, rising from $59,471 in January 2017 to $61,483 last month, according to Sentier Research, which tracks income on a monthly basis using census data.

This also means that household income is now higher than it’s been in at least 50 years — after adjusting for inflation.

This is a sharp turnaround from the Obama years. Sentier data show that median household income was the same when President Obama left office as when he arrived. Under Obama, household incomes continued to fall steeply for two full years after the recession officially ended, and then took four years to make up that lost ground. Incomes then flatlined again, posting no overall gain between August 2015 and December 2016.

The latest IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index is 53.6. This index has been in positive territory (anything over 50 is optimistic) since Trump took office. The Quality of Life Index, meanwhile, hit a 14-year high in May and the Financial Stress Index is at an all-time low.

In other words, what the president is doing seems to be working and the American people are slowly but surely bouncing back after eight years of misery under the Obama administration.

This is great news for citizens and extremely good news for Republicans who might have been scared that their inability to fully remove Obamacare might have them booted out of office, as this could assuage some of the ill will many folks feel towards that debacle.

Let’s hope the good times continue to roll forward.

Biden To Create Court Reform Commission Featuring Options That Go ‘Well Beyond’ Court Packing

Published

on

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden released a video clip on Thursday morning that revealed he will create a national commission to help reform the current court system, which no doubt is a response to President Trump nominating Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court during an election year. The statement delivered by the former vice president comes after he has repeatedly refused to answer questions about his position concerning court packing. A lot of folks on the left support this measure as a way to stack the bench with liberal judges so they can pretty much have free reign. via Daily Wire: “If elected, what I will do is I’ll put together a national commission of bipartisan commission of scholars, constitutional scholars, Democrats, Republicans, liberal, conservative,” Biden told CBS News. “And I will ask them to over 180 days come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the court system because it’s getting out of whack, the way in which it’s being handled. And it’s not about court packing. There’s a number of other things that our constitutional scholars have debated and I’d look to see what recommendations that commission might make.” https://twitter.com/SteveGuest/status/1319247217337749508 Biden’s statement comes as he has refused to state whether he supports packing the courts and has stated that voters do not deserve to know if he will do so. Top Democrats such as Sen. Mazie Hirono (HI) have stated that court packing is an option when it comes to what Democrats claim is “court reform.” CBS News asked the former vice president if this proposed national commission would “study this issue about whether to pack the court.” Biden responded by saying, “No, whether — there’s a number of alternatives that are — go well beyond packing.” He was then asked if this was…

One of the individuals who is listed as a recipient of an email that was published as part of a report by the NY Post detailing some kind of business arrangement with a company from China and members of the Biden family, Tony Bobulinski, has come forward and confirmed the email is “genuine” then elaborated on the Bidens’ role in this particular deal. Included in this email message is a note saying that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” There’s also mention of some kind of equity split with “H” getting “20” and “10 held by H for the big guy.” There are no further details explaining the meaning of these references. Here’s more from Fox News: “The reference to ‘the Big Guy’ in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden,” Bobulinski said in a statement to Fox News. Bobulinski said he is the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings, which he explained “was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family.” He said he was brought on as CEO by Hunter Biden and James Gilliar, who was listed as the sender of the email. Bobulinski went on to say he does not believe Joe Biden’s past claim that he and Hunter did not discuss his son Hunter’s business, claiming that Hunter “frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals.” “I’ve seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business. I’ve seen firsthand that that’s not true, because it wasn’t just Hunter’s business, they said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line,” Bobulinski told Fox News. “The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign…
