Democrats Have Voted Against Paying Federal Workers Twice, The Media Keeps Ignoring It
Rep. Crenshaw slammed the Democrats for using federal workers as pawns in their cynical political powrerplay against President Trump.

I’ll bet you didn’t know that the Democrats in the House have voted against a bill to pay federal workers even during the shutdown… TWICE, already. That’s because the media keeps ignoring the story.
The Democrats have spent more than 30 days, now, using the poor federal workers as a campaign wedge to attack Donald Trump and it appears they are not willing to give up their pawns anytime soon, even if it does hurt those workers they claim to be championing.
But after a month of complaining about how federal workers are forced to go without pay during this partial government shutdown, the Democrats just voted against a bill that would pay these poor, poor government workers.

And it’s the second time they’ve done it.
Republicans have voted twice already to pay government workers during the shutdown while the Democrats have voted against it.
Newly seated Texas Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw joined FOX & Friends Thursday to discuss the GOP efforts to pay federal employees during the partial shutdown.
Crenshaw has put a stop to his own congressional paycheck during the shutdown, so he is definitely not talking from a position of hypocrisy, here.
Rep. Crenshaw slammed the Democrats for using federal workers as pawns in their cynical political powrerplay against President Trump.
“This is a very little-known fact but it’s very important,” Crenshaw, said. “Over the last week, we voted twice on a motion to recommit, which would send an appropriations bill back to committee, in order to pay federal workers.”
“Now this is separate from the bipartisan plan to give them back pay. That’s separate. This is two other bills that would actually pay them in real time. This would actually pay them right now.”
Republicans have introduced bills to pay workers outside a full government budget. But Democrats have refused to vote for the bills.

— Rep. Dan Crenshaw (@RepDanCrenshaw) January 24, 2019
“This is important. If their priority is really federal workers, and that’s a laudable priority for sure, then let’s actually pay them so that they can’t be used as pawns,” Crenshaw added. “If we’re not paying them, then I don’t know what else to say except that Democrats actually want them as leverage and that’s really not right.”
But did you notice something about this story?
That’s right, you have not heard about these bills to pay the federal workers in the media.
Democrats have refused to pay the workers, yet the media has completely ignored the story.
Why have you not heard it? Because the story might tend to hurt the Democrat agenda.

‘I Do’ — Mitch McConnell Openly Supports Merrick Garland As Biden’s Attorney General
Bad news for the country!

Mitch McConnell famously stalled Merrick Garland’s confirmation to the Supreme Court to replace Antonin Scalia during the final year of Barack Obama’s presidency. The gig eventually went to Neil Gorsuch. Now, Garland is set to become attorney general in Joe Biden’s Department of Justice, with great support from…McConnell. From The Hill: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told Politico Tuesday he will back Merrick Garland’s nomination for attorney general. Asked by the publication whether he supported Garland’s nomination, the minority leader replied “I do.” However, the outlet reported that the senator did not elaborate further on his reasoning for the decision. Press Sec Defends Detainment of Minors at the Border, But Liberals Slammed Trump For It
Funny how that works.

You either have to be very smart to be this stupid, or just…very stupid. When it comes to Jen Psaki and Joe Biden, which is more likely? Anyway, here’s the White House press secretary now pretty much defending “kids in cages” – which, of course, developed during the Obama administration (and is something that President Trump was lambasted over). From Fox News: White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday defended the reopening of a migrant facility at the border for children under the Biden administration, saying it is a “temporary reopening” amid the COVID-19 pandemic as she was pressed on the president’s past comments during the Trump administration on such facilities. Psaki was asked by Fox News why the Biden administration was reopening a facility for migrant children in Texas — considering President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ history railing against facilities for migrant children while Donald Trump was president. She replied that their policy is “not to expel unaccompanied children who arrive at the border.” CONTINUED: “The process, how it works, is that Customs and Border control continue to transfer unaccompanied children to the HHS office of Refugee Resettlement,” Psaki explained, adding that “can take a couple of days.” Psaki said that due to COVID-19 protocols, the social distancing requirements and capacity limits at Refugee Resettlement Shelters have “been significantly reduced, because, of course, you can’t have a child in every bed.” VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-b-IMwCuA0&feature=emb_title
