Democrats Reveal Plan to Delay Trump's SCOTUS Pick's Confirmation Vote
Democrats are desperate to stop the appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, knowing that doing so places a whole host of liberal policies at risk of being blocked, prevented from advancement, or even being overturned, such as in the case of Roe v. Wade.
In light of the fear and panic swelling in their ranks, the party has concocted a scheme to delay the confirmation as much as possible as they seek to permanently remove Kavanaugh making it to the bench.
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s history of serving in the George W. Bush White House and his four years working with independent counsel Kenneth Starr in his investigation of former President Bill Clinton has left a sea of paperwork.
Advertisement - story continues belowDemocrats, desperate to derail his appointment to the high court, have a limited time to pore over the tens of thousands of pages of document and are setting the stage to use an expected Justice Department review of the documents to complain about the administration trying to keep select information under wraps.
With Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell saying last week the Senate will vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination by the first of October, Democrats are going to do all they can to slow roll the process and drag it out beyond the midterm elections in the hope (and prayer) that they may retake the majority in the upper chamber.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee, was clear that Democrats intend to make this a point of contention.
“This is going to be my 10th Supreme Court hearing, and I have never seen this amount of documentation that will need to be available for review for both sides,” she said, according to The Hill. “While I understand the Justice Department will not be sharing its analysis of the documents, certainly all of what it is reviewing should be made available to both sides for our review.”
Their big hope is to take a bunch of seats in Congress in order to make sure Kavanaugh does not have enough votes to become confirmed on SCOTUS, thus they are attempting to delay things with this silly investigation.
If this doesn’t put on full display the egregiousness of the federal government, what will? Here these Democrats are going full tilt to try and prevent abortion from being made an issue of the states, more or less meaning they want to protect the murder of our most vulnerable citizens instead of those citizens themselves.
Pure evil, isn’t it?
Let’s hope this vote goes through before election time so they have no choice. If it does take longer, we must show up to the polls in full force in order to make sure they do not gain the upper hand in Congress and stop this appointment.
