Dershowitz Life threatened Over Defending The President’s Civil Liberties

This must stop immediately!

Over the last two years, I’ve written quite a bit about Alan Dershowitz and another liberal professor, Jonathan Turley.

Why? Because before the election of Donald Trump to the presidency these two men were the go-to legal scholars on the left for networks like CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.

Both Dershowitz and Turley are liberal Democrats, and both men have defended Hillary Clinton and other Democrats in the media in the past. However, both men are also intellectually honest and care (above all) about our legal system. That being the case, both men have run afoul of their liberal friends by pointing out the hypocrisy of the left’s attacks on Donald Trump. Both men have defended Trump from spurious legal attacks, and both men have spent hours pointing out that the Democrats were now doing the exact thing they complained about during the Obama and Clinton years.

For this devotion to truth and intellectual honesty both brilliant legal scholars have been shunned by the left.

It’s gotten so bad that Dershowitz was even recently threatened with a horrible death by a RICH, Elitist New York snob.

I don’t care about parties, I’m invited to too many. But at a party this week on Martha’s Vineyard a woman said, ‘If Dershowitz were here tonight I’d stab him through the heart.’

This is a Martha’s Vineyard woman saying she would stab me through the heart.

Another Martha’s Vineyarder, a professor at MIT, Professor Nicholas Negroponte, who has previously said he wished there were no New York Times and that people only the news that represented their own personal world view so they wouldn’t hear opposing points of view, the same guy who said soon there will be a pill you can swallow and you’ll learn French overnight so you won’t have to go through the process of learning French. He’s leading the campaign to try to get other people to shun me in every way and to not engage with me.

Now they are losing because the vast majority of people, even in Martha’s Vineyard and in Chilmark can’t stand people who try to stop speech and try to stop debate, so it’s backfiring…

I don’t think what you are describing is a liberal phenomenon. I’m a liberal. I think it’s a hard left radical phenomenon. I think liberals still support free speech. Liberals support due process but the Democratic party and the left has been taken over by radicals who have no interest in due process. They are like Negroponte. They only want their truth to prevail. They don’t want any dissent. They don’t want any argument.

It’s happening on university campuses. And when you have professors like Negroponte giving the students the lesson it’s okay not to engage, not to talk to people that you disagree with, it’s a terrible reflection of what is going on in the United States of America.

So put aside Martha’s Vineyard, put aside clam bakes and cocktail parties and put aside what ‘Morning Joe’ was saying. By the way, I challenge ‘Morning Joe’ to have me on the show when he mocks me so that I can respond. It’s easy and kind of unfair to attack somebody and then not give them the opportunity to respond. Let’s see if he has the guts to put me on the show so I can tell his viewers the truth.

Here’s Dershowitz on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson show:

Speaking of MSNBC, here’s the segment where the leftists on MSNBC’s Morning Joe were mocking Dershowitz.

Hundreds of Woke Corporations Sign Letter Opposing Election Reform Laws

Hundreds of anti-American, woke corporations have signed onto a letter opposing the election reform laws

Hundreds of anti-American, woke corporations have signed onto a letter opposing the election reform laws being crafted and passed in red states. Big companies including Amazon, BlackRock, Google, and Warren Buffett claim to be standing against “discriminatory legislation” that makes it “harder for people to vote.” This, of course, is a flat out lie pushed by extreme leftists. Not one red state is looking to make it harder for anyone to vote. According to the New York Times, “It was the biggest show of solidarity so far by the business community as companies around the country try to navigate the partisan uproar over Republican efforts to enact new election rules.” The Times added: The statement was organized in recent days by Kenneth Chenault, a former chief executive of American Express, and Kenneth Frazier, the chief executive of Merck. A copy appeared on Wednesday in advertisements in The New York Times and The Washington Post. Last month, with only a few big companies voicing opposition to a restrictive new voting law in Georgia, Mr. Chenault and Mr. Frazier led a group of Black executives in calling on companies to get more involved in opposing similar legislation around the country. This is just another example of these anti-American, left-wing corporations working to make an end-run around the U.S. Constitution to force a hardcore, leftist philosophy onto this country. https://twitter.com/dgelles/status/1382293992705028100 Follow Warner Todd Huston on Facebook at: facebook.com/Warner.Todd.Huston.

POLL: Most Americans Still Believe Democrats and Biden Cheated in 2020 Election

2020 election

A new poll finds that the majority of Americans still think that Joe Biden did not legally win the 2020 election despite the crack down by Big Tech and the drumbeat from the left-wing media trying to force Americans into believing that Biden won. A new Rasmussen poll finds that most Americans still believe that fraud played a big part in Joe Biden’s “win” last year. Per Rasmussen: Most voters say it’s more important to prevent cheating in elections than to make it easier to vote and, by more than a two-to-one margin, they reject claims that voter ID laws are discriminatory. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters say laws requiring photo identification at the polls discriminate against some voters. Sixty-two percent (62%) say voter ID laws don’t discriminate. The pill adds: “A majority (51%) of voters believe it is likely that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, including 35% who say it’s Very Likely cheating affected the election.” And… Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it is likely last year’s presidential election was affected by cheating, a view shared by 30% of Democrats and 51% of voters not affiliated with either major party. The poll was taken of 1,000 respondents on April 11 and 12. Follow Warner Todd Huston on Facebook at: facebook.com/Warner.Todd.Huston.
