DeSantis Banners Flown Over Mar-a-Lago Ahead of Trump Announcement

The only way to know if you’re truly over the figurative target is to begin taking metaphorical flak, and this week Donald Trump has seen a whole lot of that.

The former President, (and still-presumptive 2024 GOP nominee despite the mainstream media’s attempts to spin the midterm election results), announced his 2024 candidacy on Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago, complete with a rousing speech espousing his plans to return America to her former greatness.

But the long-awaited news had others within the Republican Party scrambling to respond in desperate and frantic ways.

Banner airplanes were trolling Donald Trump as a loser on Tuesday ahead of his “HUGE announcement” at Mar-a-Lago, an expected third bid for the presidency.

One plane was observed near his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida with a message calling him a “3X bigly loser.” Another tagged his potential rival for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who resoundingly won re-election last week.

“You lost again Donald! #DeSantis2024,” the message reads.

DeSantis hasn’t yet made any official announcements regarding his potential run in ’24, although reports have stated that the Florida Governor has met with a number of GOP mega-donors; a sure sign that he is at least considering running for office.
